india should declare a national holiday during this month to let all indians mourn for winning just one olympic. just 1-2 days back when china was in the lead in the world it was sad because of its inability to win golds in athletics. on the proposed national holiday introspection seminars / workshops should be conducted in all the 6 lakh indian villages and in all the towns and cities on why india with 105 crore people has been unable to win olympic medals for the last one hundred years.
Congratulations Mr. Major Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore(India's sole medal winner at the Athens Olympics) for winning the country's first ever Olympic silver medal in the double trap shooting event.
Thanks s well s heartiest congratulations to Mr. Rathore for creating a ripple in the stagnant pond. But from the National Angle this is nothing more than a flash in the pan. Lets not celebrate as a country, until we the bunch of 1 billion realize our true potential.
