india really put up a commendable show against australia in the finals.they were on the high right from the start courtesy their emphatic win against arch rivals pakistan in last phase of the tournament and a moral boosting draw yesterday despite being reduced to a 10 member team.hats off to the indian team.may they continue this streak and win laurels at champions trophy and olympics too.

My heartiest congratulations to our hockey team. But I wish they receive greater publicity and the dates and channels where these matches can be seen should be given a lot of prominence in the newspapers.
It seems that the golden era of Indian hockey has come back. Now, they have to keep this momentum going in the Champions Trophy. We always find India agreat team when it comes to these tournaments but in biggies like World Cup and Olympics, they wilt under crunch situation. Now that they are already on CLoud No. 9, they should show the same guts against Germans and Netherlends and not to forget, South Korea, their recent nemesis. Indians are always a good team and Dhanraj Pillay has moulded the team to play for victory. Good work India.........keep the momentum going....we want this team to continue its winning streak.
