BJP will educate people reg. fuel price rise.

Educated people to understand the arithmetic is very few. Leave alone educating them. What the government should do is to make efforts to cut down the cost of necessities, so that common man is comfortable. That is enough.

It is useless move by this Govt. they are least bothered for public grevience. Fuel price rise will affect prices of all goods as trasport charges will increase and will result in increase of all goods transported from one place to other. How will Govt justify this.

Fuel price
by Kamal Chakrabarty on Sep 13, 2018 01:46 PM  | Hide replies

I find it for the first time that a govt is standing firm on an unpopular but immensely beneficial stance on high fuel price. Our policies should no more look at serving the car and two wheelers..these are now big and harmful baggage to the nation and to the environment. Use of hydrocarbons, mainly diesel, will also have to be cut for goods transport. We are shamed at the earth summits every year for our incremental growth of carbon footprint. Unlike the last forty years, it is time to tell the truth that we will do everything to reduce this looming danger. Forex should be utilized for infra development and job creation. Pushing up the carbon footprint for job creation has to be resisted. I fully support the govt stand and it should stay firm. Victory will come the NDA way only.

True...so they should first apologize for organizing protest hartal etc during UPA. When UPA increased it was proportionate to crude oil and now it is not the case.

Hey dumbo, when you venture into something in a public forum, make sure that you have read enough about it !

Dont expose your ignorance !

The carbon footprint of India is much more due to its thermal power stations, fertiliser plants, cement plants, etc than due to its automobiles !

Take a good look at statistics available on the website of the IGPCC or on that of any website hosting statistics on carbon footprint !

Yes, it is good to educate. The common man should understand that the money collected is going to various work like modern toilet with a/c and digital mapping, developing technology to extract gas from gutter and building one more BJP office.

BJP let down the nation in the effect of Demonetization.BJP didn't educate itself from the newspaper reports that appeared thus"India’s Top 1% earners captured 6% income in the early 1980. The income share of India’s top 1% rose from approximately 6% in 1982 -1983 to above 10% a decade later and then to 15% in 2000 and further still around by 23% by 2014.From Chancel and Piketty's research report.Mr.H.Ansari said in Lucknow 2yrs back : while the top 10 percent controlled about 74 percent of it the poorest 30 percent, meanwhile, had just 1.4 percent of the total wealth,"How to get the 74% now with the 10% to nation’s use. What use educating people on petrol diesel prize? You made the wealth of the people remain with the top 10% people. You are as bad as the Congress. The loot of the nation goes onR.Ponnambalam
