Fuel prices.
by daniel thorat on Sep 13, 2018 09:08 PM

PM Modi and Amit Shah, RSS and all the BJP people must think of another solution as well. Let the 100,000 educators also simultaneously teach "PAKODA MAKING" and chai-making and make a living. That will surely preclude fuel needs. Jobs will not be sought after.

Fuel Price-PM and Oil Minister should read the msg on the wall
by uk mohanty on Sep 13, 2018 08:28 PM  | Hide replies

Let me make it clear: I am not a sympathiser of Congress or Opposition.Iam a senior citizen.I sincerely believed that Modi ji as PM will take the country on the path of development. But alas!He concentrated on only one issue -Blame Congress for all the problems we face now. That erodes his credibility. He should have tackled the issues and people would have known how his govt is better than the previous one.Always putting the blame on others shows that you are incapable of finding solution to the issues.
As far as fuel price is concerned ,your 1 lakh workers may give 10 lakh explanations in support of hike, but fact remains that common people feels pinch. And they will decide your fate in 2019.
If your govt is sincere to the causes of common people reduce the central tax on fuel and ask the states to follow. This will display your genuine sympathy for common man.Or bring fuel under GST.
Dear PM,Please read the writing on the wall.

It is not the people of India but the PM Modi who really needs to be educated not only on fuel prices but also on all relevant issues of governance. When the bread earner has no money to buy food for his children, family, he must stop buying any other things, prestige things, and first bring in food. Modi will not be blamed if he understands and follows this basic thing of "economy". "Vishvguru", "Bramhand", "new India", Gujarat bullet train, Indians settling on planets etc. must stop and give way to true priorits of India, not the whims and facies of the PM/RSS. These 1 lakh educators on petrol prices - what else will they do other than telling lies and bluffing? The PM is harbouring day dreams which require capabilities, resources, true nation-loving people and not merely nominal,politics-drives spurious "nationalists".PM perhaps needs to understand how India is vast and different from mythological descriptions and conditions. From what money will he pay the salaries of these educators?

Pls google it to know the price deciding components on each ltre of petrol and diesel. Taxes and other levies are too high. Actual production cost of petro per litre is much less than Rs. 40. Even Mr. Subramanya Swamy confirmed this and he says that price for petrol should be fixed at Rs. 40. If not Rs. 40 let it be Rs. 60 maximum. Now the price is heading towards Rs. 100 levels. This is a matter of concern. Not only the direct users of petrol and diesel are affected, but when the fule prices move up, the transportation costs of the essential items will also increase simultaneously and this will lead to hike in cost of living. Now a days we pay GST for all most every thing. Even for the dent clearing work or painting of your Car, you have to pay around 18% GST on labour charges over and above the auto garage bill. Even we pay GST on the hotel bill from a non luxurious restaurant, we pay GST for the hair cut etc. etc. GST is now applicable for 90% of goods and services. The money being paid for all these goods and services is from the net amount the person having in hand after paying Income Tax. In fact people are paying multiple taxes at different levels. All fine, we will pay taxes and GST without any complaints, but what we are getting in return is the big question. No social security schemes for majority citizens, no good roads, no health care schemes, nothing in return for the middle class people. May be BPL families may be getting some benifits, not sure.

Impartial question.
by Jayaprakash on Sep 13, 2018 07:47 PM

I am not a supporter of opposition parties. If they are in power, they will also do the same. So it makes no difference who is in power, hiking fuel prices is easy money the Government. On the other hand common man are now used to take the beating due to ever escalating fuel costs. When fuel prices made a free fall, there was no proportionate decrease in oil prices. Now as a citizen, my humble request is that atleast provide better roads for the common man. Now even national highways are full of poth holes. The State controlled roads are in pathetic condition. Since smooth driving is not possible through these kind of roads, fuel consumption will be atleast 20% more due to frequent braking. Further more such roads cause severe damage to the tyres as well as wheel alignments etc and as a results the maintenance costs also become too high due to Government not able to provide good roads. Numerous accidents are also caused by poor road conditions and many lives are losts because of this. Needless to say, the hike in fuel prices also leads to price hike in essetial items as well due to higher transportation costs. When the Govt take so much of money from Common man by way of exhorbitnat fuel price please give some thing in return, atleast better roads for road users. This request is for all political parties, because even States ruled by other parties are also reluctant to reduce their taxes and levies on petrol. Then why only to blame Central Government ?

BJPs one point programme
by Ram Niwas on Sep 13, 2018 04:19 PM

The programme of ruling party is to defame degrade Congress. On any issue raised to point out failures of Govt the BJP spokesmen will counter the blame and tell that the same issues are due to congress. BJP is also not short of intelligent people but they should improve their working and stop this one point programme

You, sir, are a good hearted, innocent observer. Ramdeo, OPatanjali, Yoga, Ayurved, the Ganga projects and other such things are all directly and indirectly helped, funded and financed by he govt. itself. That is how our national priorities got cock-eyed. Fuel needs to be SUBSIDIZED.
