The BJP, after burning up
by piri on Oct 17, 2018 08:09 AM  | Hide replies

a cool couple of crore of rupees from its black money hoard persuading and transporting a few thousand women and men from Kerala and TN up the slopes to Nilackal and beyond today (on the way to Sabarimala), ran head first into an anti climax !

They had made such a hype of the situation arising from the Supreme courts act of vacating the stay (granted by the kerala high court in 1991) on entry of women between 10 and 50 years into the Sabarimala temple that they just could not believe their eyes when they arrived at the spot and...........found only a score or so policemen around !

The BJP state leadership had apparently convinced Amit shah to loosen the partys black money purse strings in sure anticipation of finding a few thousand policemen on the way to Sabarimala and fantasizing about being arrested and jailed !

The party had so apparently calculated that it might just somehow be able to make this issue linger on till the 2019 election so that it can hopefully go forward from its miserable vote share of 10.4 % to perhaps 15 % and beyond !

If a few thousand men and women are arrested in full view of TV cameras - complete with pictures of the deity being sported prominently in their hands and screaming away as the wronged faithful, then somehow it might make a few lakh more voters in Kerala forget all about komaaaali Modis foolish attempts to cut off aid to the state in the after math of the floods !!

Instead, those few thousand men and women ended up being merely

watched with bemusement by the score or so policemen posted at Nilackal while they went about stopping cars and buses with a flourish and pulling down any woman inside who appeared to be in the wrong age bracket !

Whatever had happened ???

This was not the script Pinarayi Vijayan was expected to play for the BJPs benefit !

And....when a BJP spokesperson on one of the TV debates tried to provoke the CPM participant by suggesting that the govt did not appear eager to enforce the Supreme court verdict as it promised, the cool response was that the court had only ruled that those women who wished to visit the shrine should be allowed to do so and not that all the women of the state between 10 and 50 should be transported there !

Oh, the temple would remain open only for a few days for this puja season ! After it closes, the BJP would lose a *golden opportunity* to convert this issue into a talking point for the elections if the state govt is not somehow provoked into arresting thousands of their paid sabarimala devotees !

The BJP is worried now about how the Kerala govt appears to be so cool in playing down the hype and taking the wind out of their sails !

Yes this is the way out.

Let all the approaches be blocked by women devotees, and the so called activists who are mostly non-believers, who wanted to belittle HINDU's AGE OLD CUSTOMS, must be taught this way only.

I wish thousands of women devotees must participate in this event, and the so called "activists" who are out to degrade our believes are taught a lesson.

Just sit on the approach roads, and do NAMAJABA, that is enough, and do not disturb or check any vehicle. Gather in large numbers and do SATHYAGRAHA.

Neo Reformer

Why court has to intervene in a matter of religious faith. Sabarimala is an well established temple worshiped for hundreds of years & run by a trust. Any changes required in temple matter should have been done only by that committee. A famous temple in Barpeta Assam does not allow woman to enter. When then PM Indira Gandhi visited the temple she went only up to allowed point. She never objected it as degrading woman but respected the Faith. More than that the Saint who founded the temple, Sri Sankardeva never made any direct shishy from woman. Now should all Assamese disregard him & refused to to call him as reformer of then Assamese society. Religion is a very complicated issue & matter of Faith & not always necessary to have logic. SC now turned as reformer of Hinduism but then people consider someone as reformer when one will have immense spirituality & knowledge.

EXACTLY MANABENDRA-JI EXACTLY. ANYONE WHO HAS READ " THE C.I.A. FILES" WILL SURELY UNDERSTAND THAT THE C.P.I. THE SOLE AGENT OF ALL ANTI-INDIAN CRIMINAL SYNDICATES , NEEDS TO SABOTAGE THE COMMUNAL HARMONY IN KERALA , EXPERTS IN SABOTAGING DEMOCRATIC INSTITUTIONS AND CORRUPTING ALL ESTABLISHMENTS. MOST OF ITS MEMBERS HAVE ALREADY INFILTRAT6ED INTO ALL STATE GOVTS. AND CENTRAL GOVT. DEPTS..

They celebrated the triple talak ban as a milestone against women oppression. That judgement was also given by SC. Now they are creating tension in a apparent defiance of SC judgement and are playing religious card here.

All political outfits are equally complicit, for without their sanction religion could never have been a part of politicking. People claim to believe in God, but, not many are willing to let that God decide what works for her/him and what doesn't. So, it simply means that people mostly do not believe in God, for if they did, then they wouldn't be resorting to riots, killing, and anarchy in the name of protecting the very God, who they claim protects us.

CONSTITUTION & THE JUDGES
by swaminathankt kt on Oct 16, 2018 05:13 PM  | Hide replies

Indian constitution is written by human beings, call them luminaries or men of great traits & leaders.

Honourable judges are but normal human beings who are in a position to just interpret the LAW and apply it for the case in hand.

Millions are devotees who take up pilgrimage on their own without any compulsion and theirs is only freewill and no instigation.

CASE 1.)

KAMAKHYA temple , very famous temple in GAUHATHY, ASSAM, has its own rules, and in certain days men are not allowed.

CASE 2. )

Famous GURUVAYURAPPAN SRI KRISHNA TEMPLE , again in kerala, has a rule requires menfolk to remove their shirts and allows with "bare upper body" only for prayers.

These practices are being followed for ages, and the HINDU religion never opposes it as they are just devotees and if they want to pray they follow the rules.

CASE 3)

Nobody begged these women activists to visit the SABARIMALA IYAPPA temple, and for sure , none of them are known IYAPPA devotees, but wants the rules changed for them to pray at SABARIMALA.

When millions of actual DEVOTEES have no objections to pray as laid down by the age old rules, what made them to fight for it.

THE REASON IS NOT FAR TO SEEK.

There are people who just could not bear the popularity of SABARIMALA, and every year lacs and lacs of devotees come from TN,AP,TELENGANA & KERALA AND NOT TO COUNT FROM OTHER STATES, as they are from all states.

So honourable courts , cannot just apply " equality" rule from a &q

So honourable courts cannot apply the "equality " rule for a few activists who are anyway not devotees to hurt the sentiments of millions of true devotees.

If they are pious they must visit hundreds of IYAPPA temple, and also other temples, hindus have plenty.

EQUQLITY IS NOT AFFECTED HERE AS;

1. In SANI SIGNAPUR, the temple is by the side of the road, easily approachable and women praying is accepted.

2. In HAJI ALI DARGA is in the shore and with easily approachable road and women can be allowed, of course subject to the rules of their community.

3. SABARIMALA is not only approachable but is amids dense forests, walking along hilly tract, taking rest at whatever place available and to top it all to travel with "shoulder to shoulder" crowd for almost two days.

4. Not to belittle the strength of womenfolk, but the hazards accompanying it.

5. MOST IMPORTANT, LORD IYAPPA as we HINDUS believe is a "NAISHTEGA BRAHMACHARY" , meaning which he is in noway to be associated with womenfolk.
There are many RAHASYAS, which cannot be explained, and visiting is more harmful to womenfolk, is all one is taught.

So these so called activists are totally wrong in applying "in-equality" rule in this case.

They are more concerned with the popularity of SABARIMALA rather than their visit.

Plese don't disturb the millions of actual devotees for the sake of a few activists who fight for a wrong case.

Will SC take the responsibility of all that's happening in Sabarimalai? A Muslim gentleman petition who is not even related to the religious community wins....Vijayan is 100% anti Hindu. Last communist government in Kerala. Please implement triple talaq immediately. Responsible for all death of hindu people there.
