No. Modi will not ask Akbar to resign as it may lead to pandora's box opening up against other ministers. He will brazen it out. If it becomes too hot, Akbar will be asked to quit on moral grounds with no official pressure from the party.
I will not be surprised if some lady comes up with her own allegation against a Congressman just to counter the negative fallout of allegation against Akbar.

The self claimed highly intelligent person who also claim to have highest IQ but in rality is a big idiot now started acting like a mind reader. Do he has basic knowldege of law ? How can one expect resignation of any person from his post only on the basis of any allegation of the incident happened number of years back and not proved ? Why all of sudden such incidents suddenly crop up after years? why not a single incident of recent time ? Why most of the victims only come before media and expect only media trial ? Why they dont prefer filing complaints before appropriate legal authorities ? They have serious allegations against someone and the onus is on them to prove their allegations with concrete evidence which can stand before the law.
Dont you see picture of falsehood in the case against MJAkbar, there were no cases even when was just editor or when he was in the congress. Just because he fell out of the goodbooks of Ms Gandhi and Rahul that most of the luytens press with help of a few women journalists are now blaming MJAkbar. Why did they not file a simple complaint all these years when they know of the laws governing women and all have been journalists who have the freewill to write in their papers/column on other magazines or papers about him. Why now when he is a minister and not when he was a no one. this is a sinster attack on critics of the Gandhi family.
If all the accusing person are proved wrong then they must be put in jail without bail for defaming public or eminent personalities in their respective fields. Why not it be the otherway around where the female journalist take advantage of the position and be free with the so called editors for promotions, or valuable posts and perks. It needs thorough investigation in to such matters before asking people to resign. Saba Naqvi if she is one to say against MJAkbar is a Rahul or gandhi family supporter as can be seen on news shows ordebate. She could have said on the same day when MJA was appointed as a minister or in any of the debates involving women matters as there were amny instances when she was on debates relating to the same and not a word from her till date and now makes to believe its all make up for a few days fame in media.

why coming this allegation right now ? if they have any prove with evidence they go to court and prove the allegation then believe . otherwise it is just fashion now to bring that type old and very old matter.
