He cannot tolerate eating besides a non-veg eater. So, he may ask for a separate compartment for Vegetarians. How can he ask for separate compartment for non-veg people, who are not asking to be segregated ?
The entire Jain community of this world and all the Vegetarians applaud and sincerely thank advocate Syed Eqbal Ehsan ayoob ali, Hatsoff, a great step taken, wishing 100% success, well done advocate
Then what about Flights, Restaurants, Public places. You say one night without non-veg. Its penalising some for your own liking. Why do you see non-veg at lower end of the food spectrum. Vomitting, even some do wh8le travelling by bus because of petrol burning smell. They apply their own judgement,- whether or not to travel by car and bus or by or by other means.
I have full sympathies with the gentleman. Probably if available he should carry a suitable mask for odour prevention

It is not about being vegetarian or non vegetarian.
Whether someone is vegetarian or non vegetarian is an entirely irrelevant matter for others. What others eat is none of anyones business !
What is relevant here is that smelly food must not be encouraged in public areas, especially in closed spaces such as AC train coaches and aircraft.
And, in India, both vegetarian food (especially some menus such as Rajasthani thalis) as well as non vegetarian preparations can be equally and revoltingly smelly !!

I am also a vegetarian but i feel never offended with other's food choice. All he is doing for publicity. Just observe that he is a lawyer by profession and filing raising such type of issue will bring him more attention, so he has done it. We must ignore him
