True even Jay Shah is not a corruption. It is a case of a hard working guy invested 50k in 2013 and by 2015 it jumped to millions almost overnight.

In Bofors, they received commission, but in Rafale, cost is high, while compared to old price. It is very efficient way of earning money.Technique is secret, but cost is not secret.Pl tell us the reason for cost difference
Govt should cancel the rafale deal.as there is corruption and also french technology is like frogs tech.not high.and go for Sukhoi-the best...or F18....

As for the planes, well no one will remember that after 2 weeks, except when another MIG crashes.
It is also clear that Karan Thapar, like most of the pretentious know-it-all of Lutyen's Delhi, is actually a bumbling idiot. HOw else does one explain that all the things that he mentions in this article- there explanation is not only available but available in public domain, within mainstream media only! E.g. the price. Everyone knows the difference between the price of only the aircraft vs aircraft weapons maintenance. People have also already speculated that the reason the MMRCA deal was cut down to 36 was that the price of 126 Rafales would have been too much (says something about the way the contract was handled during UPA times and the way a winner was declared). NDA government has only floated a separate tender for another 100 aircraft- this includes single engine aircrafts as well that are cheaper.
NDA govt started the fresh bid directly with French govt. and scrapping the old one with MMRCA Tender (Dassault) in 58,000cr for 36 jets costing each jet 1,611 cr.
Since Dassault was no longer obliged to share technology with HAL reliance defence has emerged the key player.(Allegation of ‘promotion of the interest of one industrial group’)
1.Allegation 1 : High Price
a.Bid by Congress just included 18 aircraft licensing fees and supply of parts required to assemble 108 aircraft in HAL . It excluded weapons, maintenance cost that would incur by HAL during Assembly.
b.Price by NDA is far more comprehensive .It includes 36 fully assembled Rafale aircraft as well as personal training, munitions, India specific system supporting infrastructure and five year service agreement.
2.Allegation 2 : Revealing price of each rafale procured → Although it was already decided that it would be a close knit secret at time of UPA only ; main reasons are as follows
a.If the price of each fighter jets are revealed it beats the vary purpose of procuring advanced jets.(everybody knows what capability lies with each jets)
b.It is disadvantageous for seller as it reduces their bargaining power with other customers
3.Allegation 3 : In 2014 Eurofighter offer that was cheaper by 453cr rejected due to corruption in Rafale Deal.
a.It was one of the most baseless allegations in Rafale deal. First there is something called as Work Ethics,(You cant deal with two parties for same b

(CONTINUATION)…. ,(You cant deal with two parties for same bid). When this deal was offered,India was still in talks with France govt for procurement.
If India would have accepted Eurofighter it would have invited lawsuit from Dassault.
4.Killed “Made in India” :
a.India do have cheap labor, but STILL assembly of Rafale was costing
1.5X the original price,so localisation doesn’t always reduce net prices.
5.Why Dropped HAL?
a.The final negotiated contract is for offsets of industrial defense goods, not an agreement to co-produce planes, which is HAL’s only competence
One more thing I would like to add here(Approx cost for each country while purchasing Rafale )

Everything becomes clear when we stop looking for personal corruption or "money trails". The BJP ministers are not looking to personally benefit monetarily by facilitating Reliance as offset partner. It is just that when the money starts rolling in , in future, suitable arrangements will be made to benefit the BJP as a party . The monetary benefits will accrue to an organization and not to any person.
On a smaller scale, the CAG has pointed out that in 2010, the Gujarat GOvt underbilled and wrongly billed 3 top business houses , so as to benefit them by Rs 1400 crores. And this is the CAG's contention, not mine. There is no personal benefit to any Gujarat politician in this, but surely the BJP coffers benefited at some stage ?
