No money trail? It's in Anonymous Electoral Bonds
by Chaitanya on Oct 02, 2018 07:38 AM  | Hide replies

The BJP passed legislation to keep political contributions anonymous, through anonymity of electoral bonds.

Most, if not all, of the money trail in L'Affaire Rafale will be through the channel of anonymous electoral bonds going into the BJP's coffers !!

BJP rule at the center and in many states and is certain to retain power for the next term. They gets more than enough funds for their party and no need to do anything in Rafale deal.

Modi & Rafale

Apparently. A failed businessman like Anil Ambani (owes over 50000 crores to banks with units as NPAs and assets of negligible value) acting as middleman, the accusations are apparently true. While Modi directs raids by IT, ED, CBI on opposition, he allowed such notorius criminals like Malya, Nirav, Mehul and IL&FA promoters to deceive and leave the country with offenders dues crossing 1.00 lakh crore.Unfortunately, it is being cotested by Rahul Gandhi with low credibility not by seniors of credibility in opposition.

Common people think that both parties are earning while they rule. Congress earned for 60 years. So, Congress party may have money 10 times more than BJP. They both should disclose

The way government is shying away from clarifying certain critical issues, and keeps on talking with vague words, indicates that all may not be well with rafale deal (not selection of aircraft).

Karan Thapar raises many pertinent questions.
by piri on Oct 02, 2018 12:09 AM  | Hide replies

But he does not mention perhaps the most damning bit of fact !

And that fact is that the BJP has been splurging money (money as black as coal tar) for elections and associated work far in excess of the amounts it has been declaring to the election commission !

As per the Centre for Media Studies, the BJP spent a record Rs. 12000 crores plus for the 2014 LS election. But it declared just Rs. 780 crores as its expenses to the election commission !

And it was then in power only in 5 states !

By contrast, the Congress party - erstwhile masters of black money funded campaigns - spent a relatively humble Rs 7400 crores and declared just Rs 580 crores to the EC !

The most remarkable aspect of this comparison is that the Congress party was in power at the centre for 10 successive years then yet could not match the opposition BJP in black money power !

And after 2014, the BJPs splurging on elections has only got far more voluminous !

In the recent Karnataka assembly elections, the BJP left the other two parties far far behind in campaign expenditure !

The close collusion between the BJP and crony capitalists (Adani, Ambani, Reddy brothers.....) to plunder public wealth under the garb of development......national security......etc, could not have got more evident !!

Its' A Non-issue......As The Allegation Comes From RG.....
by rishi on Oct 01, 2018 09:06 PM

People have complete faith in Team-Modi-Led-NDA Govt. RG first falsely quoted the President of France who snubbed him outrightly.....Rg then ran to the Ex-President of that country who gave a statement and then soon contradicted it with another. End of the day, RG is left confused while the billion-plus well-wishers of the Govt. hold their faith in favour of the Government....not a dynsat desperate for survival in public space.

Infact it is Rahul moment . He could not get any corruption issue against BJP and Modi Government that knowing well Modi or the Government will not discuss the details of Govt to Govt deal,Rahul is jupmping . Also there are lot of others like Arun Shourie, Yashwant SInha , ( surprised why Satruhan Sinha is keeping quiet on this ) want to embarrass Modi because their poltical career in BJP has been stopped . There may be ifs and buts but we are certain that Modi/Bjp government are not cheats like Congress Government.

It is a story RA.....hul.....FAIL in 2019 if he talks of no other things but Rafale, Gabbar Singh, and what not nonsense.

A real leader goes to the people and asks for their difficulties and sees what he can do within his limited capacity, then he tries to build step by step to the top.

But this leader of opposition is making it easy for the BJP to come to power by always talking of nonsense issues.
