Right Wing HHindus want to retain caste identities because they believe the movement birth-based caste system collapses, HHinduism would collapse.
Low caste representative parties want to maintain caste identities want promote the identities because it was necessary to get reservations also to bolster their vote-banks.

What are you saying? What benefit a Brahmin derives today, by retaining his cast? Which social status he receives? You are in a La la land, making your own hypothesis without having even a basic understanding of Indian society. In reality the rigid caste system have become collapsed today in India for good. Barring a few grave incidents of discrimination, you will not able to exhibit any serious violation of human rights in India. And the Hinduism is still standing straight. This is so because caste system was never a fundamental of Hinduism. So don't disburse confusion.
