Why congress did no claim CM post?
by Chet on May 17, 2018 06:40 PM  | Hide replies

Why congress did no claim CM post with the help of JDS party who is highest vote share but less MLA?

You know why .. All is valid in the game of politics.
Politics is not just Black or White .. There are many shades.

Welfare of the people is more important
by Prem Sabhlok on May 17, 2018 06:35 PM

IF JD(S) can join Congress after the elction results to get CM Post, what stops JD (S) to join BJP during these 15 days for the welfare of the people of Karnatka. Our Constituion does not prohibit such actions. After all aim is welfare of the people of Karnataka. We have seen some independent elected MLA was with BJP in the morning and with Congress in the evening. Nothing stops JD(S) such legally allowed action.

Modi has just opened the possibility of keeping Karnataka in his pocket. MLA's are bound to join BJP within 15 days which is good enough time. Small price to pay if it brings stability and progress to the state which I believe was missing during Congress rule. That's the reason for anti-congress, bjd turnout.

The high Moral ground that Modi is holding is all farce, he is corrupt to the core and has managed to fool people with his gifted tongue.
Its a pity that the majority are still getting fooled. Fielding corrupt candidates, corrupt CM, hijacking governments without a care, Manipur, Goa and now even Karnataka. What a shame. Once Modi becomes the all powerful, a day will come when basic rights of citizens will be denied. Will it be too late by then.

One question. Are you happy with our progress compared to other countries since Independence? If yes, do not comment, I understand your mentality. If no, be the changemaker and provide proof that this govt has not done except fooling us. Don't just blah, blah.. doesn't help. I'm interested in one govt because of the changes that it can bring once it has powers in all states. Congress had the chance but it failed miserably. Why not give the present govt a chance instead?

When you are in politics, you have to play politics. Why do you think MODI should not play the same game.

You are expecting him to be behave in a certain way which is your fault. He will do what he is supposed to do to counter his opponents.

But one thing is sure, he will take care of people welfare, take country to greater heights and you will be proud to be Indian shortly.

He is selfless person committed to people progress and at the same time tough with opponents.

Dont worry we are in safe hands !!!!

Nice reply .. People should understand your words rather than just post words against BJP.

And they should understand that these are new generation BJP politicians not like Vajpayee who is high on moral.

Politics with 'Moral' are long gone. Yes we are in Safe hands, rather than in unmatured hands

I accept that all do not pay taxes honestly 'coz of the fear of the taxes being looted away and no proper usage of taxes to improve lives of people of this country.. Everyone says why pay taxes ..we have to road, water, security, health...we continue to line and die in circles...BJP atleast does not eat away the taxes we pay...Congress legacy is at steak if BJP comes to power in Kartanaka as its a precursor to 2019 polls...

Congress deserves it. They are trying to hijack the people mandate. Now they are crying. And they are sheilding Rahul Baba for the drubbing they got in Karnatak poll. Guv did the right thing by calling the leader of the largest party and not the sacm tainted JD(S) and Congress.

Deepak the numbers are not there bu mandate is for BJP it is quite clear. Same was case with Goa, Manipur and Meghalaya. In Goa congress did not stake claim because no one was supporting congress. Governor on his own cannot call Congress. In Manipur same thing happened . Out of 60 they had 28 and no other parties were willing to do business with them. In Meghalay Cong with 21 and NPP BJP with 21 were there. Other local parties didnt support cong.
Every one are shouting why 15 days are given. Truth is how long will coalition last. Unhappy JDS members wanting Ministries will switch one day or other. If members of Cong and JDS are holy why they need to be packed in a resort.?????
