iS tHIS a jOKE ? Where is the closure ???
by Nalin Kishore on May 07, 2018 08:55 PM  | Hide replies

The President disqualifies 21 MLAs of Delhi AAP, the Delhi High Court admits petition against the order. Can the President's order be questioned by anyone ? Then there is no end .... Go to President against the Supreme Court/High Court ... then go to Supreme court against the President ....
*
Similarly when the VP has ruled against impeachment of CJI ... they should have approached the higher authority i.e., the President. How can the Supreme Court hear anything against the VP's order ? This seems like a joke ....

The Vice President made his order in his capacity as the Chairman of Rajya Sabha. If he erred in making the order (as claimed by the MPs) the matter must be decided by the Supreme Court. The President has no power in the domains that fall under the legislature or the judiciary.

VP's order was against CJI's impeachment, so any representation against him has to go to HIS superior. How can it go to the CJI's domain when the complaint is against CJI?

Both the MPs and the Supreme Court seem to hold a different view. Hence the admission of the petition before the bench.

NJAC Act passed by parliament and 50% of the state assemblies and passed by Rajya Sabha and accorded consent by president was struck down by SC judges. Now Sc judges feel that they have more power than president. is this democracy. Now the litigant lawyers want the case to be heard by a bench headed by a judge suggested by them. Is this correct. Where we are heading. Now as a common man I feel If now the case is rejected by the bench these two lawyers should be bared from practicing as advocates. Can this court do that?

The CJI is equal before the law. If there is even a hint of impropriety, then let it be decided in court. It will clear the matter once for all.

Dr karthikeyan, Congress and their counsel like kapil sibal and Prashant bhushan should very well read power of the Chairman of rajya sabha as vested to him under article of the constitution of India. As per article 122(2), none of the courts of this country has any jurisdiction to question his power exer by him as per his role as a Chairman of rajya sabha. Prashant bhushan is also a mischievous counsel. One can wonder why he has so much love and affection for Justice Chelameshwar and knowing power of CJI in allotment odd cases, he still time and again mention urgent hearing of his case before the bench headed by justice chelameshwar ? Now i agree with the decision of Kejriwal who rightly booted out Prashant bhushan from his party.

Ishrat you must understand it is political fight by cong. Sikh riots case and Temple issue is coming up. Kapil sibal has lost many cases in SC. He is misguiding RAGA. The four Judges are all cong/communist sympathizers. They were unnecessarily involved in by kapil. Why no one supported Cong on issue of impeachment.
Manmohan singhvi and Chidabaram refused to sign. This big game is being conceived directed and played by only kapil.

Seek people's Court
by jaleshwar prasad on May 07, 2018 01:42 PM

When they are in power ,they don't obey Courts when they are out they want the court should do their duty i.e; politics on their behalf after people rejected them from everywhere, they want some rulings through back door to take up the issue before public siting points against ruling govt., they have been successful in politicizing the apex court and the senior judges are playing in their hands, directly or indirectly.Instead they should face public, win election & put in chair as CJI their own man who can rule as per their choice.
