People will understand the BJP game, but will it be too late?
by claudius lazarus on May 08, 2018 08:50 AM  | Hide replies

BJP since coming to power has systematically taken over democratic institutions and installed puppets everywhere. Anyone speaking against government is silenced, including media, senior Judges, opposition leaders, even common citizens are threatened. Once BJP completes this task they will tell you what you wear, eat, drink, whom you meet, whom you marry, which place you work....everything. The signs are already there. Unfortunately Modi is on a wave, rightly so, the congress deserves this for all their sins. However, Modi is arrogant and not humble, he is power hungry, which is opposite of what he portrays, he has a very mediocre team with a narrow mindset, all this augers doom for the country.
People will realize this eventually, but will it be too late?

The views are valid. A democratic version of Hitler! Basically, all this is because is really is a misfit and occupies the position because of the truly fortuitous chain of events that put him there. The end of the situation is likely in two ways: others in BJP,more mature, educated, evolved, modern in thought may resist continuance. Or elections may confirm the mass realization of his ineptitude. Or they may also think of post retirement of PM

judicial suffocation
by GOVIND AGARWAL on May 08, 2018 08:35 AM  | Hide replies

so called senior councils wants to rule supreme court, so that they are able to get free all gundas, murderers and looters of public money. This impeachment motion is like that only. Either you agree with our evil designs or we will start to proceed against you. Kapil sibbal and prasant bhushan should be punished for damaging the reputation of court for their narrow gains.

Why not punish Modi for installing a puppet as a CJI? Who is quashing all cases against the BJP? Do you understand how dangerous this is?

CJI.....is a joke....he is just a Puppet!
by claudius lazarus on May 08, 2018 08:32 AM

Puppet CJI and nothing else, just following his masters orders. Have they no shame? This country's future is bleak with such people stooping low to gain power and suppress the entire judiciary and legal framework. Conscience is a rare commodity these days.

Did you draw the conclusion that the judiciary is saffronised because of the recent acquittals?

Impeachment Drama

It is just unfortunate that vested interests are trying to intimidate the highest level of judiciary for their personal gains.

Perhaps one way to set an exemplary end to this nonsense it would do enormous good if the five judge bench not only dismisses the frivolous request but slaps a penalty of Rs 1.00 crore on each of the signatories and pass strictures against Prashant Bhushan and Kapil Sibal for specifically asking that the matter be heard on priority and that too by Justice Chalmeswar, and restrain them from appearing in any court for a period of 5 years.

Such a strong action is warranted and will do the country lot of good.

Such litigants should be permanently bared from practicing in any of the court in India. It is high time judicial accounting should be implemented.

As per the article 122 (2), none of the courts has any juridisction to question or challenge decisions of Chairman of Rajya Sabha for taken any decision as per the power vested to him by the constitution of India. However Supreme Court has left this decision to the wisdom, knowledge and experience of judges who will be part of five member bench constituted for the purpose. However, the hearing will take some time. Most likely the petition filed against decision of Chairman of Rajya Sabha will be dismissed and one will not surprise if the petitioners May be liable to pay fine for such petition wasting court’s valuable time. The four senior judges who stages a revolt against CJI will not be part of this decisionis a very correct step taken by CJI who will also will not be a part of bench hearing petition.
