How can a person earning Rs 1.8 lakhs / month in a PSU get the same reservation policy for his / her children compared to a poor General caste person. It is time to raise voice against this horrible practice and see that only economically poor people get this benefit. Remove SC / ST reservation policy, specially in education, medical and other life saving professions with EBC (Economically Backward Caste).

I agree with your first sentence. Reservations should certyainly be reduced, especially in Tamil Nadu where the percentage is almost 70%.

Those who once availed reservation must go out of the reservation police for their next generation and should be considered as general. Other poor people scheduled caste and tribe who have not availed reservation should get it. They themselves should demand it.

person sitting in an AC room and writing nonsense about the ground realities, will never be able to show the true picture of sufferers. there are numerous cases reported which clearly shows misuse of laws and gives police men a tool to extract money from both the parties. now a days, no person is ignorant, even so called dalits are more active politically and legally. these type of articles will eventually lead to mass divide and clashes. these NGOs (amnesty or whatever) should be thrown out of India.

Not at all, rather the earlier provision was more than misused. Once, in a PSB, the GM, a SC filed FIR against MD of the bank under Atrocities act. Such were the casual threats doled out by the SC/ ST communities in Govt. Offices.
Why don't you shove up those unsubstantiated statistics up your rear? Do you really think that you are superior to even honourable Supreme Court? Well, you are not. Time has come to unite all Indians as CITIZENS OF INDIA - irrespective of colour, caste, creed, language and religion.

If you get a chance u will move all non dalits out of country by spitting venomous against the general citizens, do you deserve to be called a one among the general citizens no because you want to exploit whenever given a opportunity

What is Schedule cast or tribe? India moves on to Digital India, Make in India,Swach Bharat etc. but the fact is most of the polical thinkers are the worst thinkers. No qualification to think properly or having limited knowledge of the subject, not a progreesive mind set are few causes of INDIA being in this pity state. These can be overcomed if & only if INDIA is put under proper administrative emergency for 10 continuous years or more with a proper family planning agenda for producing quality human being is the only way out to get out of this worst scene. Why you promote SC/ST govt. servents superceeding others. Do you think all others are meritorious?

Mr. Banerjee Don't you think that the political thinkers doesn't know what is good or bad for the country they only do all these things for vote bank. for the betterment of the nation one should not require good qualification, experience, knowledge etc. the only criterion that is needed is a good intention.
