Dear Mr Vaidya, you are totally mistaken. I do not know about your experience but you hardly know BJP or politics. So better you understand the issue then speak.
People think it is someone else's responsibility to reconcile different names in birth certificate and when they change their name after marriage. It is the individual's duty to reconcile their change of name before they apply for passport. They can not expect the passport office to accept 2 different names just because they got married..

This is not a case of two different names. Documents were in order. In fact, both husband and wife have got their passports today.
This type of harrassment is everywhere even celibraties leaders got stuck at airports that to in those countrys which far more educated and liberal, one has to face the situation and get out from conflict, Officer should have verified documents and could have taken additional proof if he his not satisfied or could have referred matter to seniors.
Not possible such behaviour by an officer, all cooked stories. 2019 is an election year, all such stories will come as happened in earlier State elections. Otherwise it is also an administrative issue, media or anyone intervention is not required.

And what do you mean by "media or anyone intervention is not required" ? Do you see "anyone intervening" ? Do you see "media intervening" ?
Or, what you really mean is that you want all media to strictly avoid reporting this incident since it is embarrassing to some political parties that you favor ?
