Was transfer a sufficient punishment? Why was e not suspended pending enquiry? Where was he transferred to? to the next p/port office in Lucknow itself? It is really pathetic to see some people almost justifying his action. Have we lost a basic sense of decency?

even if he get suspended he will resume duty after some time, after all there is no accountability for politicians and govt servants :(

British built excellent dams, bridges, railways, gave equitable Justice system, modern education system opening universities, etc which rapidly improved the living & intellectual standards of common people. British modern medical services reduced death rate and increased life-span. 4. English language helped India to become a global tech & educational power, in spite of some shortcomings. 5. British rule considerably weakened the barbaric caste-system, superstitions, ignorance, etc strongly rooted in Indian psyche, though remnants remain. 6. No doubt Hinduism is the most secular, literature-rich religion, but Indians live in constant delusion—believing ancient Indian literature has all sci & tech; in 2000 BC, 90% were literate & rich; Indian economy 27% of world economy in 1700, etc. These are all lies invented by scoundrels to fool Indians. Really the PP Officer has certainly doing mistake for his behaviour to a lady/couple. But all along with is not it seems the lady who marry require to change her name as per in her in laws religion etc. Is this persons are taking benifits of her hindu names and trying to get bennitifis in any religios or cultural issues. Its her right whether she would like to change her name or not . Its ok and agreed but is our social custom allow it. I think there is something wrong in the entire matter and required a enquiry about the total incidents.

Very correct. It's just one version of incident. Possibly lady also may have started officer abusing while he may have asked uncomfortable question. It's generally universal custom to adopt husband's surname after marriage. Many women keep both.
The only thing where the present ruling party has faired very well is dividng the communities to the highest degree of hate mongering. Previously never before such type of incidents, recently airtel case, Ola case of Lucknow and mob lynching etc. have came up prominenntly during this regime. Congress or BJP both are equal looting party , but the divide was much less during congress rule.

Mr Ghalib, it is very unfortunate, what happened; but what you are doing is much more full of concern. BJP has Muslim minister and Members also. So do not use your sixth sense to make the issue sensational. Better look into the real problem; then blame or curse.

Politics itself is a religion and politicians follow "politics" religion. And politiciasn are "kathputli' in the hands of bigger corporates, congress included. Till the day they are usefull for corporates they are allowed to remain in power the present sewak is also only working for corporates, he also give lip service to ordinay people to garner votes. Other wise if is a real Hriday Hindu Samrat , Temple would have been complted after 4th Year, 370 would have been abolished.

Dear it is unfortunate instead of appreciating prompt quick action from ministry and authorities making useless comments. In previous Govt the issue would have taken months to respond - years to resolve. Dear Galib if you are so concerned ask your brothers to stop abusing own sisters , wife, mothers in the name of religion.

this should a lesson to all such silly ppl who r rude ,arrogant at jobs and misbehave with customers. if ppl r frustrated at jobs then they can leave their jobs.there r many ppl in jobs who disrespect other ppl,misbehave and shout ? at ppl.ppl should slap such rude ,arrogant officers hard
