INDIA IS NO LESS.
OUR INDIA IS FAR DEVELOPED THAN THAILAND.
JUST BECAUSE WE ARE UNFORTUNATE TO HAVE ALL CORRUPT AND SUPER CORRUPT POLITICIANS DOES NOT MEAN WE SHOULD UNDERESTIMATE INDIA'S POTENTIALS AND EXPERTISE.

yes, we would have done it!
by virendra gupta on Jul 12, 2018 11:24 AM

I do not know, when and how, we (collectively)shall get over the negativity about our capabilities-not the loud mouthed talking by some 'politicians' but the detailed, precision teamwork being done by MANY professionals in country.
Let us not forget the achievements of Uttarakhand and Chennai disasters; how the country kept a tab on the cyclone in Odissa; how we are moving ahead in space research, many innovative surgeries in medicine, the move to excellence in the indian industry and in education.
Yes, everything takes time but with MODI and team, surely anything is possible-leave aside an incident similar to that of Thailand.
True, there would have been the democratic rituals and procedures, nevertheless, we would have achieved the feat.

SOme more infomration...ABOUT INDIAN CAPABILITIES
by anup n nilawar on Jul 12, 2018 11:02 AM

Yup..we could do it very well..But we would have done it or not...Not sure..
Recently, nipah virus outbreak was contained so efficiently and dramatic manner..But no one make story on that and how people have achieved it..

Private hospital of kozikode, Manipal university lab ( Private institution) and then NIV ( Govet research lab) and then Kerala public health department...All worked so well...like some hollywood movie..

Any way, major point is we need to be more apolitical in non political issues..
and this government is just dashing in that where we all se foul and cry incessant..bloody shit..

Point in nipah case is, all different sectors played well.. So it was capacity building that helped us in the time of crisis.

And that bloody and blind yashwant sinha is crying on jio univeristy and all without knowing anything...and media is tossing it.

all here is political at the end..
So i also say something poitical.

So this government with its so many drawbacks, working on the systems which mostly work secularly..

Do we support it ?? Do we appreciate it ??

In India the real disaster happens after a disaster
by auryas on Jul 12, 2018 11:01 AM

Sh^t load of experts who come from nowhere descend into TV studios making noisy claims and disseminating gyan.

And under educated, loud, shouting brainless idiots of anchors and media people would drown us in noise and din.

Then there will be slew of slimiest creatures of Indian polity - arguing , alleging, shouting, accusing each other and confusing the whole episode.

There will be suspensions, transfers of officers in charge.

There will be Army , Navy and Air Force deployed ( and media giving us running commentary on dare devilry of the armed forces.

Compared to what transpires post a disaster in India, the actual disaster become trivial.

We are a phony , loud and needy country.
