Giving Freedom to Indians is Like Giving Mirror to a Group of Monkeys
When we give a mirror to monkeys, they will start fighting: ‘I want to see first, no I want see first.’ They end up fighting among themselves and then at end up breaking the mirror into pieces, besides injuring themselves.
Instead of taking freedom at Midnight on Aug 15, 1947, Indians should have taken freedom in parts allowing British stay in India for a few more decades and then gradually taking power, as it happened in the case of Canada. Partial independence to Canada by British was started in 1945 and it was complete only in 1985.
What freedom India got? 1 million died in communal riots during 1946-50. Nothing good happened, no significant difference. 70 years after freedom, we are still begging, struggling, whining. Caste disparities remained, poverty remain, reservations are being enjoyed not by the poor but by the criminal communities like Jats, Yadavs, Gujjars…, 90% politicians & lawmakers are criminals, and the list of ignominies and shameful things is endless.

Immediate need is population policy and common civil code, muslims are biggest hurdle in both.

Regarding population explosion, you are wrong !
Muxlims in South India dont have a high population growth rate !
Whereas muxlims AS WELL AS hyndus in North India have always multiplied and still continue to multiply like rats !
Take a good look at the Census survey 2011 and find out yourself.
While muxlims as well as hyndus have a TFR (Total fertility rate) of around 2 children per woman in south Indian states (in Kerala, it is now down to 1.7), both hyndus as well as muxlims in most north Indian states still have a TFR of above 3 !!
North Indians, whether hyndu or muxlim, are still multiplying like rats !
