Another non-starter
by Ravi PV on Feb 23, 2018 12:19 PM

After NTR and MGR no other actor / actress have achieved major success in South politics. The latest entrant who calls himself as rationalist cum secularist should thank his stars if he himself manages to save his deposit in the upcoming elections.

Though one of today's leading editorial suggests Kamal is more clear and articulate. I have to differ with editorial's view on the ground of Kamal's past statements. One thing is certain, he will change according to situation and may become an opportunist with his own justification. Ironically, he has not been inspired by Kamaraj??????

Everybody has to change according to prevailing situation otherwise we will be static. Our PM in every state whenever goes for election campaign he speaks to taste of people who are sitting in front. If he speaks what is applicable to Gujarat is acceptable to Tirupura.

Late Mr Kamaraj was good and set an example as to how to be a CM to function. Does that same policy is acceptable now. Any thing could be spoken in public platform and put into action is essential. This is where every body is lacking.

It is a high drama by Kamala hassiun. It is not like giving dialogue like 'unnal mudiyum thambi'.Politics is an art and based on opportunity. It is MGR,NTR,Karuna and Jaya who have nurturtured politics in their blood. It is not like acting in films and delivering dialogues to attract front benchers.Politics is purely caste based, mone and muscle power are the points involved.

Hope Kamal doesn't follow the Kejirwal way
by Jayaprakash Balan on Feb 23, 2018 12:02 PM

Its a good thing for any politician or anybody who wants to enter politics to be liking or in awe or even inspiring good politicians from different ideology or having different thinking. This will make the person understand things from all angles. But just hope he doesn't follow the Kejriwal way because though Kejriwal's is an inspiring story and to an extend was a good politician with a clear thought, he was and is unable to implement his thoughts in clear way because he neither has a long term strategy and the biggest tragedy being thinking like a frustrated worker and only thinking of anti-Modi and anti-BJP. If any politician's thoughts are of anti-anything, it will never survive. Thats what has happened to Kejriwal, left parties and to an extend Congress.
