Pakistan government is for peaceful solution. They are like us. But the army is controlled by external agencies (An intelligence agency of other country?)
USA is known for it's cunning tactics to keep countries engaged in war in order to get sell defense technologies.
Pervez Mushhraf is a classic example of this. In one interview he admitted getting aid from certain agency to continue conflict with India.
Arms business is very lucrative and USA is the biggest arms technology producer in the world. In order for the business to thrive, there needs to be conflict between nations - nations which are rich and can afford buying arms ( Like pak and India).
Afgans are our friends, Iran our friends, Syria our friends, Palastina is a friend, Entire middle east is our friend. So no organization from these nations can harm us. Pakistan too as a country wants peaceful solution. They are not for war.
So who is aiding and abetting this conflict ?
Continued conflict between the two nations is in the interest of any one in Arms business. That tells all.
One interesting aspect is no country can invade and win India. Not even US, Russia and China combined. India is too big and too powerful.
So some agencies external to both India and Pak are keeping this conflict alive so that they can sell arms to both countries ?

You forget the political fallout of this. All Sickular parties would take to the streets and create ruckus.

Historically India has failed lost defeated due to internal traitors,which continues till date helped by some of the media.This is a great weakness of India.Tolerance level in other countries to traitors is very low.
