He has not suggested that PM is above the laws. The deal of buying Rafale fighters is right, and there is no need to disclose the break-up cost as is done by the previous governments.

What more do the UPA wants to know in terms of Rafale deal
by rajesh venkatraman on Feb 09, 2018 10:40 AM  | Hide replies

Shashi Tharoor and Rahul were part of the ruling MPs when the then defense minister AK Antony and Pranab Mukerjee said that details cannot be give as it will compromise national security.
why did they not raise to the occasion like gentlemen and ask that in a democratic world especially in the indian setup we need to be transparent in the financial matters as it involves public tax payers money.
If Rahul has any issues on the pricing of the aircraft. He should ask his party elders that in any project decided and is implemented after 10 yrs will any party complete the project with old pricing. Even the metro rail projet in Bangalore started modest with 7000crs for phase 1 and when on completion it was 18500cr can the sidda govt tell as why the price was risen when the initial estimates included the price rise factored in for over a period of years.
When the price of per aircraft of UPA was just the base price and does not include the customization, spares and maintenance and armnament (missiles, guided bombs, gunship etc).
The UPA now wants to tell people that yes we have also found corruption in NDA in the defense deal.
the govt should now expidite the case on national herald and IT on the assets of the congress President and chairperson which is disproportionate to their income and if its wealth from the elders are proper taxes paid on it.

UPA was the one which cleared Rafale only because f the low price and y Tejas was not built even after 30yrsto the needs of airforce

If there is corruption on both sides it doesn't cancel out. There is a third party: the rest of India! What about us?

How fake deshbhakt fooling nation alongwith rss/bjp/modi.
Clearly not disclosing deal amount and giving contract via Ambani shows complicity and corruption of Modi & bjp rss combine in most of the defence deals.
It is same like BJP objecting to independent investigation into jude Loya's death because prima facie even a child can say who the murderer is. Fake Deshbhakts your time is over.

Attempt to counter balance BOFORS
by auryas on Feb 09, 2018 10:26 AM

Congress desparados as usual raked up an issue regarding Rafael deal to counter balance BOFORS case which may be reopened.

There is nothing in Rafael deal.

That way there is a sh^t load of issues during UPA govt that can be dug up from their graves - from Rojgar Yojna through housing schemes
