China and Pakistan must be chuckling knowing that we have a fast depleting air fleet. What the opposition should do is to go back to the quote at the time of AK Antony's tenure in 2007, factor in inflation and discreetly check out the enhanced features we are paying for. In case there is proof of irregularities, the citizens of this Country will take the required action. This is not the era of Bofors.

In an ethical company you cannot even disclose

Do the motormouths asking for details know that

Forget about the price....
In some deals the vendor and the client are bound by an agreement where even the name of client cannot be disclosed.. Not even to other members of the same vendor organisation without the business need.

Any disclosure in information results in severe penalties and even abrogation of the contract....

We are in an ERA of professional engagement where and discretion and not honky Dory rag tag association that India is made out to be !!!!!!!

Stooges and charlatans who thrive on free wine and kebabs will not understand this !!!

Disclosure or Secrecy
by Gladyschellam on Feb 09, 2018 03:07 PM

Govt of France is a vendor of Rafale fighter plane. The technicalities & the cost are meant only for India alone? Whether there is any guarantee that France could not manufacture with more technicalities or sophisticated better one than Rafale to any other country if there are any demands. If happened so, what will happen to our maintenance of secrecy. Disclosing its commercial deals does not seem to be wrong - while payment details could not be done thru RBI and Finance dept. Technicalities could be known once it is put into operation or tested.

Rafale Deal

All the so called experts on the Rafale Deal, please note that the whole thing is in offing for several years and the IAF is seriously short of Frontline fighter squadrons, considering vast boundries of India and Pakistant and China ready to evade the Indian territory. A better approach would be to go through the deal and have a verification by CAG as per existing norms. Finally if India is air-raided, no discussion would prevent the marauding aircrafts of Pakistan or China

Govt should reveal

Govt should reveal figures (need not reveal full technical details)reg the procurement price of each Rafale aircraft with accessories as compared to UPA order.Unless this is done, there is no transparency and BJP's holier than thou attitude wil be just a hollow claim.

Why can't the price be disclosed. If it's kept secret means something is there.
