whenever there is some fat lie and opportunity to blast nationalists (and Hindus). First of all UAE made a press statement that they never promised any aid. Looks like this author had a cut and paste article written overnight and also got paid. rediff has no choice but to publish. what an irony.

of the restaurants here in Kerala have resumed business !

And the flow of cattle from Tamil Nadu and other states (including North Indian states where on many occasions, Gau rakshaks themselves permit the traffic on payment of a bribe of Rs 20000 per truckload as confirmed by several leather goods factory owners in Ambur, Tamil Nadu) into Kerala has partially resumed !

If you want to enjoy lip smacking beexf fry and beexf olarthiyathu without the fear of contracting diseases such as cholera and dysentery as so often happens in North India, come to Kerala !

The state food inspectorate in Kerala, unlike in other states, is very strict with restaurants as well as street food vendors and raids and ruthlessly destroys food that fails their lab tests and cancels the licences ! They do this so meticulously out of fear for the commoners in Kerala, who, unlike commoners in other states, know about the food inspectorate and what is expected of them !

Why do we need foreign aid in the first place.

The refusal to allow foreign aid is tactical in that if India welcomes foreign aid, we will face criticism from world community when we venture into Chandrayaan or develop another ICBM.

Secondly, why are these imbeciles argue that we should get foreign aid ? India is one of the top economies of the world today.

These so called experts are doing no good to India.

What all all these idiots do is confuse the citizens with their brainless idiotic gibberish.

Both the Cong and left is sensing opportunity here. What ever be the cost of rehabilitation it must be given. So Brick by Brick ,House by House, Lane by lane, road by road ,farm by farm, bridge by bridge - a detailed survey should be taken in all 14 affected districts. If it is 30k crores or 15k or 21k cr let survey decide. Let it not be opportunity for poll funding by the main political parties in kerala. Communist rediff and NDTV campaigning for funds. Something fishy.

Kerala floods
by GOPINATHAN ANILKUMAR on Aug 28, 2018 12:01 AM

Unfortunately, Kerala has been suffering from an unprecedented flood situation, wherein so many had lost their lives; the flood has caused a lot of damage (some of them irrepairable) to the people and their properties.
It is at this juncture we are discussing the issue of receiving foreign assistance. The author of the article (Mr Aakar Patel) observes that we should not consider UAE as a foreign country inasmuch as the people of Kerala has helped build UAE. On this issue, undoubtedly, UAE is a foreign country maintaining their own (uncompromising) angularities (with no tolerance for other civilizations) and customs. If the Government of India feels that we Indians can solve the issue without receiving foreign assistance, that confidence should be given the first place. Admittedly, the damage caused by the floods has been devastating, and it will not be reasonable to think that the entire damage could be reversed in a fortnight even if we receive 1000s of crores of Rupees (from within or from outside). Now let us stand together and put in our best efforts to rebuild whatever was lost due to the unfortunate situation. And it is to be ensured by both the Governments (both central and the state) that the money collected towards relief fund is being used for the purpose for which it was collected. We should not ignore the fact that at least in certain instances, there have been looting and hooliganism shown by our own people. We need to see that such incidents are never repeated

The media and so called 'experts' are getting audacious by the day, crying injustice at everything, their only motive is 'let confusion tule' and neutralize the goodwill of all the good co-ordination between central and state governments.

They will keep creating controversies our of thin air to sustain confusion till the general election. They care the least about India.
