Those people or organization critisizing Modi govt.for not accepting the foreign aid why not they uttered a single word during UPA govt.when they turned down the same ?

Why atrocity is relevant here? In same situation, same policy should apply.....Present government could have refused help even if UPA had accepted. Narsimha Rao had refused foreign help during Latur earthquake, though all previous governments had taken help under similar circumstances.

I have no problem with the policy as long as the govt puts the money where their mouth is.
BTW, policies are not cast in stone. They must be reviewed from time to time.

The article is in bad taste. Author says due to pressure from centre the UAE had with drwan the announcement. Is UAE so weak in its policies. The author should understand that the policy of not adopting foreign was adopted by UPA when things were much worst than now. That time you were hiding somewhere. What is the account of fund given by centre to Kerala for Ockhi Cyclone. Will you persuade your friend to give that. Please do not mix your poison on the relief works.

PM RELIEF FUND IS ALREDY AWAILABLE WHERE THEY CAN DEPOSIT MONEY BUT THEY WANT TO SELECT WHOM TO GIVE AID DIRECTLY.WHICH IS NOT PERMITTED. AUTHOR IS MODI HATER.
foreign gift must be taken if foreigner given . one thing it to be cared that total help must be reached to the victims . and money should be reached to the people without any corruption.
