At the summit with Modi, President Xi
by piri on Apr 29, 2018 08:42 AM  | Hide replies

referred approvingly to the growing engagements between India and China and hoped that the ties will grow in strength in future.

In return, Narendra, the komaaaaali, brayed out that *Indiannz arr haappi that I amm the fusst PM of Inddiaa who waz reseevedd by the Chineez presidhenntt outside Beijing* !!

He sure would have left his Chinese hosts scratching their heads trying to infer what the big deal about that is !!

And at least some of them would have realized that the komaaaali, even while standing on Chinese soil and addressing his hosts, was desperately trying to signal to Indians back home that he is indeed more distinguished than past PMs because the Chinese welcomed him outside Beijing !

The komaaaali also would have left those Chinese wondering how difficult democracy can be considering the comic lengths to which the Indian PM has gone with his propaganda !!

It's a Modi's failure
by ashwani kumar kaushik on Apr 29, 2018 12:31 AM

It's a Modi's Foreign policy failure or back to ground zero after 4 years. All Modi lovers will disagree even will try to abuse me but this is the reality that Present Govt.(which is Modi Driven only) tried everything Ist tried to woo chinese president Jhoola diplomacy, which failed then Barack obama, Trump , then Shinzo Abe nothing worked now back to Chinese President .This all is very closely watched by Chinese. it's not dealing with Rahul or Nitish it's dealing with World's superpower no. 1(China)Modi has to play his cards very smartly which he has failed in first 4 years.Firstly he has to gain power in India for next 5 years & then play smartly because in India you can't even trust anyone in bureaucracy or in political arena any one can ditch when you trust them the most . Chinese are very good at buying people & its very unfortunate to say most Indians are saleable for one or other thing.
All the Best Modiji.

PM Modi and Xi Jinping
by Ramalingayya Mathapati on Apr 28, 2018 06:48 PM  | Hide replies

Modiji's visit to China is a great success. The both the countries's leaders better understood about their friendship which solve so many problems with Zero cost. Leaders must think about their citizens's welfare first. Now a says Science and Technology has considerably increased in the world. The world must adopt Peaceful instead of harmful means like War and violence. The Global is one, we must think that we are also one neglecting their traditions and customs which are against the humanity and the science. I congratulate the PM Modiji for his good development in friendship with China and be so.Author : H TEC in democracy

WONDERFUL PROGRESS TOWARDS INDIA CHINA TIES.
by subrata banerjee on Apr 28, 2018 04:23 PM

China should be an ultimate choice of best friend for India. It should be admitted that China is already a big power while India too has been running fast to accelerate the growth in economy, infrastructure, education. Friendship between equal is always good for long term perspective. Chinese president mr.Jinping does look to be stubborn communist leader when we find him excellent mood to improve relationship with India. China is no more an orthodox communist and at present allowing religious activities in his coountry. We must remember that hindu and buddhhist religion are almost same. In fact, buddhism came from hinduism. There is a great possibility to imporve the ties between china and india provided they respect each other from core of heart.

PM`s China visit
by daniel thorat on Apr 28, 2018 02:40 PM  | Hide replies

This country will most certainly applaud the PM if returns and shows us signed brief to the efect that China will not want to take Doklam, Arunachal Pradesh etc.that it will not cut our water coming through some rivers flowing through China, that it will not support Pakistan in case India starts a war, that China will support Security Council seat for India. Where is all that?

Relationship with China was on cards
by Sameer Shaikh on Apr 28, 2018 02:33 PM  | Hide replies

For those saying Modi did a masterstroke or played a smart move or some saying he did a U turn have little idea that foreign policies are result of consultation with different stakeholders in India such as businesses, foreign office, GOI, IAS Officers etc.

India was under the impression that that aligning with west will give us more dividends but reality is EU, USA and UK want to use India against China with fake diplomacy whereas back home they are promulgating unprecedented protectionism, populist measure, trade barrier, anti immigration and anti globalization whereas the reality is 21st century belongs to globalized and interconnected world. Be it from tightening visas, deporting Indians, increasing tax and benefits for locals first policies they are succumbing to sheer populism. China and India have common goal here.

Together India and China drives 40% of global population and if they work in tandem, they can make world open to anti globalization standard which even some countries like Singapore, Malaysia and thailand along with west have adopted recently.

The head leader of India must warn to these hypocrite western nations that without India, it is just a greater china in south east asia and central asia and now even china is eyeing africa and europe. Dont treat us like junk if you want us to compete with them but help us to grow by removing those anti globalization measures you have taken

One of the two sides is highlighted here. The tall talk of fastest growing Indian economy and 40%world population being driven by these two countries etc. is a fashionable lie or half truth. The huge population of India needs to consume things to survive, and they will buy it from somewhere. So also with China. So many years now China never starved for something from India. The curse of Indian economic talk is nothing but intelligent sounding jargon, and short of full understanding. What happenes if a war breaks out, any where? Thge country has already see the highly disruptive actios taken by the PM re: DeMon, GST etc. etc. If any further highly disruptive orders are avoided, the country will experience peace and calm. /the imaginary issues will be taken care of by the new govt.

Sameer , intelligent observation. Being an NRI and having spent good no of years as Senior executive in India and OS I think our bureaucracy is working sharply under present Govt, else I had seen many of our ambassadors just doing boot polish jobs in the past. All visits and meetings are the handiwork of IFS lobby. China sees India as their market to sell products and nothing more than that. China is trying to be No. 1 super power in the world and make India as their biggest market. This meeting will prove to be a show piece in the interest of China. China will never allow India to be great power and not allow to get NSG membership.
