Indi-China Relationship
by Dr Gurusamy Gandhi on Apr 28, 2018 08:52 PM

If only the two rising ,fast developing & would be super powers of the world come together to form a strategic alliance for a sound and healthy ,mutually beneficial bilateral relationship, then all unwanted political & military interference by all the western super powers in the affairs of both the countries would come to an end.

Thus the two powerful neighbours can do wonders for the whole of the mankind on earth by its sharing their advancements in science , technology,IT and atomic energy and such other fields to the astonishment of western countries.BECAUSE BOTH COUNTRIES' POPULATION IS HALF OF WORLD'S TOTAL POPULATION.

Hopefully Modiji would pave the right path of progress for both counties in the next few decades for the betterment of entire mankind on earth.

Modi and Xi are not meeting to strengthen bilateral relations but to discuss the protectionist attitude being taken by Trump.

Some times, Rediff writes positive story for the nation otherwise it is mirror of Dawn, the news paper from Pakistan.

Message to CHINA

Clear message should be passed to china about its double game with India.China should make it clear about its stand with India. Being with Pakistan and helping it in all the ways in troubling India should be addressed.Until and unless china stop all its efforts in troubling India, create troubles and going against India and again talk about the new kind of relations is of no use.

The facts that the two Asian ancient nations with a rather mixed experiences of the best and worst of relations, one has to 'wait and see' before committing to the outcomes of engagements in diplomatic domains. Having watched China's response pattern in bilateral and multilateral for a ove the past 50 years, my suggestion is to not to be too optimistic.

Freedom should be given to commentators or otherwise you should stop the column. It is understood that rediff HQ is situated in BJP ruled state where there is no freedom of the press & hence this is happening...

land marks !!
by s kumar on Apr 26, 2018 11:47 AM

Wing Commander Ravindra Parasnis : superb : kudos to you. these arm chair experts see "landmarks" in anything .nothing happened after rajiv gandhi 's landmark meeting 35 years ago. nothing will happen now onwards also. Chinese proxy pak will hurt (it ceded POK "land" to china) us more and more. Tibet "land" will become extinct . arunachal "land" is still claimed . these are the " land marks "..Still these people will never realise what china is. chinese political-military establishment is so ruthless and brutal on its own people that it ran tanks over its 5000 children !! in 1989 .. pity the chineese people
