Tibet "land" will become extinct . arunachal "land" is still claimed . these are the " land marks "..Still these people will never realise what china is. chinese political-military establishment is so ruthless and brutal on its own people that it ran tanks over its 5000 children !! in 1989 .. pity the chineese people

Which visit of PM Modi is not a landmark event incurring crores of our money every other week. The next visit abroad must be already on the anvil.

The landmark visit etc.

A greater sycophancy is rare to find even in these days than this "landmark" visit business ! Why recall Rajiv Gandhi`s visit to China now? Does the writer of this article know an iota of the reason, circumstances and objective of this visit? Nobody is told. A secret. The word "strategic" means nothing really. Will some one honestly help?

China has been cheating India for long. They have annexed enough of our area ineastern region as well as ladakh. Can they return it back. For that we have to strenthen ourselves where we have been lacking. Let us be forceful first so that we talk on equality basis.

In North region, the people come to power with money and muscle powers/ or by gundaisms. These people are basically cultureless, evil doers, rapist, liars, cheaters and packa gundas. When North India gets freedom from these rascals we do not know!

It is not good to blame only north India. No doubt most of Goondas get to power but that is case everywhere. In south people are a little more senssible and disciplined.

India & China = Capitalism and Communism

Capitalism collapsed in all over the world including in Europe, in mother of capitalism USA and in India also. US is receding from all the world leadership like NATO, Paris Pact, Globalisation, WTO, etc; and communist China is coming to that place. China is now the largest economy in the world – China’s contribution to the world GDP is 30%, America’s contribution to the World GDP is 14% and India’s contribution to the world GDP is 4%.

The author has done more jugglery of words than having offered a vision. He has repeated history, which does have bearing, but we need to look forward. How do we do it?
There are three major irritants-of these OBOR is recent one. Here we , can not compromise our territorial integrity and must inform China in plain and simple language that until it agrees that some of its execution is in PoK,we oppose it.Which we have done.
Tibet-Dalai Lama has said recently that he has no objection to chinese rule in Tibet if they preserve Tibetan culture. Our insistance should be on an affirmative action.Earlier agreement with Late Rajiv Gandhi already states about freezing of border disputes, hence we can not raise Aksai Chi and they should refrain getting into Arunachal Pradesh tangle. Bhutan should also be taken into confidence in all these matters.

Right, you are Purushottam. Sadly, there is also that unfortunate situataion that China has always been taking advantage of, namely using Pakistan againtst us. She has gone to to the disgraceful level of giving them the nuclear bomb technology and even helped them in developiimg a long distance missile. NOT ACCEPTABLE!
The Dalai Lama ? Please Purushottam, the poor great man is helpless and may say anything the Indian Government asks him to say. Let us not surrender our own national interests as our disgraceful Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru (of the 50s and 60s did it in the late 50s. We need to stand firm.
