More heat, less light
by palanki narayana on Apr 20, 2018 02:19 PM

The Supreme Court has summarily thrown out the petition, and admonished the petitioners for misusing PIL law.
Caravan published 22 articles on the judge's death. If the SC felt it is all hot air, this case was an opportunity to refute the magazine point by point before the dismissal. It is not sufficient merely to say that the four judges (being judges?) would not lie. There are still many loose ends.

After the Judgement has been delivered in the Justice Loya's death case, some leaders of the political parties are speaking against the verdict and criticising Supreme Court. Why no contempt proceedings can be initialted. They have expressed that they have no faith on judiciary of this nation.

A judgement can be criticised, but no motives can be attributed to a judge. No contempt proceedings can be initiated.

Sad day
by Soumitra Goswami on Apr 20, 2018 09:50 AM

This forum is for politically biased, if not paid people. Prashant Bhusan though not a free of interest out of PILs but he takes up issues what the opposing view point is likely to be. Rejecting view petition as malafide probably not expected in democracy. When judges revolting for fairness, resigning post gving judgment are not enough to believe that judiciary under serious influence of political patronage then it is really sad days for us. We have no where to go and live at the mercy of political lords mostly top graded goons.

The PIL factory owner should surrender his license as he has lost faith in the Supreme Court and he is unable to set up a court which would run as per his instructions.

No surprises if on 28th April the "honorable" courts decide to acquit all the accused in the Kathuha incident & blame the victims of misguiding the nation.

Anything can happen in today's world here.

If you really have no confidence on the court then you should leave India as in a democracy that is the last resort.
If you do not believe on that also you are in danger

I will not be surprised as Kathua seems to be the only incident in legal history where the accused are demanding Narco Test and the police is refusing it.

As expected from u all. Why didn't u say the same when some of the accused went Scot free in the mumbai bomb blast case?
U cannot make the court run on ur wish. learn to respect the judiciary that is the last hope in democracy. Else everything is ruined by the netas and the system. And if u r not able to do so u have the world open for u.

But this is not a game !!

It is real life !

ANd the so called umpire - Dipak Misra - is a man who has a proven record of being a thief !

Little wonder that he is easily softened up by the black money power of the komaaali party (BJP) !

There is a Orissa high court record that establishes Dipak Misra to be a confirmed thief !

Want me to reproduce it here ?

This guy piri is directly talking ill of th supreme court judge without understanding the implication.I reckon this kind of reckless comment from any platform of any opposition,be it political or communal ,deserves consideration of some punishment.Hope govt will look into this.

Lawyers like Bhusan and several others having the backing of liberals and pseudo seculars have tried to make mockery of the constitutional bodies with loopholes in LAWS!
It is high time strict laws should be enacted against them and anti national activist through referendum . Peoples movement should initiated in right earnest. Political parties are not expected to take up the matter as they themselves are involved from time to time.
