I hope the majority of Kashmiris are with Shri Mohammad Shafi Pandit and like his statement that "Kashmiris are not against the Indian State". He seems to talk sense and hope better sense prevails in Kashmir which would lead to peace in the region.

Since he was an IAS officer, it is interesting to know what he did when the Hinxdus were being driven out of Kashmir by peace loving religion. Merely saying that, all Kashmiris are not secssionsits or terrorists is only doing lip service. Bring back all Kashmiri Pandits to Kashmir and re-habilitate them in their mother land. Then only public sympathy will be with Kashmiri People.

Second line victims of any theocratic/ Ideaocratic movement are people of there own community, who refuse to crawl, and be subjugated.
All over the world, same trend can be noticed.

I think the day Kashmiris of the valley and the government of J&K publically apologise for the eviction of Kasmiri Pandits, automatically the process of rehabilitating them in the valley will start and that will be the beginning of a new era in its history.
