After working in Government for whole life ...if you are still putting such one sidded views then it is really pity....we should make weak society strong and weak society doesnt have only SC and ST they have other lot many castes so please do fight but for ALL
SC,ST and crime against woman is highly mis-used by majority. Such bias, prejudiced and one sided laws must go. We all must stand together for such partiality. Everyone has sympathy with poor and deprived not with any creamy layer or woman who wants right equal to man, wants to work together and in case of small mis-understanding frame man and create atmosphere of fear.

people will start raping women if these laws are not there my dear. india have history like that. u dont have any female in your home..and u dont have any shame also .few of may be mis using but laws are given correctly for use

I am Working as DGM in Salem Steel Plant of SAIL.I am seeing a sub-ordinate here belonging to SC/ST, spreading messages indicating that if any action is taken against him for his non-performance in office, he will use his caste card and take necessary action. Getting work done from him is not at all possible.

why you check the castes? first of all justify that because u check who is who first of all and making and dragging india down..if u r DGM u must know how to help and and guide and not only action which is misuse of powers nothing else..word action itself is injustice with the powers given to a post

This is a seen at various places of work where they use SC caste card to black mail Seniors. And Seniors too know that it is dangerous to ask them to be disciplined and work.they may be few but create a odd situation for Seniors to carry on the work. Dr.D.Verma

Sundaram, I am fully agree with your view. I visit number of Government offices like Sachivalaya, Income tax office, GST, customs, RTO, Courts and has seen that the superiors are afraid to take any action against their staff fearing they will lodge complaints against them under atrocities act and get them arrested as using abusive language against their caste is non bailable offence. This weapons is used by the most of the people to harass others. Whatever decision taken by the highest court of the country is proper.

Getting justice from higher caste for thousand of years was impossible for the SC. U r expressing concern over a period of 10-15 years

Any upright person will not submit any threat and perform his /her duty to get work done from subordinates without any fear or favor. Cowards die manytimes before their death.

And it is denying the peaceful citizen of India the right of self explanation before punishment. I have suffered due to this act, though the FIR was withdrawn after a year or more . I was forced to resign after accusition on moral ground as Management was feeling me liability for the Institution being the head of the Institution. Fortunately I was not arrested as I took stay from HC against the FIR. I know many cases in urban areas where SCs don't mind to use this law to teach lessons to other Caste people of course they are few , they exist and misuse the law.
