A brilliant analysis by Mr Rajagopal. He has predicted correctly that Rajnath Singh,Ms Swaraj,Ananth Kumar, Ravi Shankar Prasad,and Gowda( though he did not name them, but other articles have appeared that the PM is not happy with them) will be shown the door post 2019. Defence is a very tough ministry, and keeping the 3 Chiefs together is the top most necessity, how Ms Sitharaman fares in this ground is to be seen. You incline towards one, the other 2 become glum faced, and unresponsive. Ms Sitaraman herself is ver serious, and never known or seen to smile.

Just as we fought for 'privacy' as fundamental right, we need to have right to 'talk rubbish' as fundamental right. Then no one can even criticize however 'garbage like' things you talk / write.
Come to think of it, it is in our Indian DNA - fiction, imagination and prediction ( legacy of rishis) and we apply this skill to pretty much every thing from political commentary to sports analysis ad economics.

Has any one seen her smiling? Seldom.As the spokesperson of the party she always measured her words and spoke sense unlike many others who beat around the bush.Her scholarly background ,capability comprehend the crux of any issue and present her views cogently have always held her in good stead. A good choice.

Perfect analysis by you than the author of this article. Judging the person is most difficult task but Hon'ble PM has the command over it. Sometime, he has also to do some adjustments to please his colleague. But most of the time he does not disclose his cards to everyone easily. The smart PM after Mrs. Indira Gandhi we blessed with. It is the honesty, decency, intelligence, loyalty, sincerity of Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman which paved the way for her selection as DM. I think the main thing is that her non-corrupt image which is immensely required for this post and i think this value is on the top of all for this post. Except, Mr. Manohar Parrikar, our PM did not keep faith on other Ministers except Mr. Manohr Parrikar for this post. Good decision ever taken by any of the PM. Bravo PM.
One may note that all the 4 women ministers,Mrs,Sushma Swaraj,Mrs.See that am an,Mrs.SmritiIrani,MrsUmaBharati are definitely very talented compared to women legislators if any other party in India,and are an asset to BJP proving to Congress that BJP means business and does no discrimination of Gender as far as merit is concerned.Hope these 4 women AdiShaktis do their best to elevate the status ofindian women amending obsolete legal laws for divorce,inheritance of property,33% reservation for women in all fields and strict punishment for kid napping,raping,exploitation of women in society etc by passing women's bill.Then all Women's vote infavour of coming elections making it hot favourite
Ws Mr Rajagopalan present at these so called ginger-like meetings ? Cos he was giving some sort of live telecast of what all happened behind the closed doors or may be he has Divya Drishti that seniors are rattles and such bunkum.
these 'political commentators' are another breed who make movies out of thin air and confuse people with their 'creative' and 'imaginative' narratives.

Mr Rajgopalan may not be allowed to enter even the building where meeting took place. This useless people just want to get some undue importance by planting stories with their imagination devoid of any facts.

Your are right Thomas! I have seen Rajagopalan in some Talk Shows on TV. He is quite assertive and seems to have his ears on the right places!
The competence over gender that prevailed. All competent MPsn will be the faces for 2019. We have to have competent face for sgriculture, Rural Development and Labour
Honorable PM has once again bought out a diamond who people thought was a piece of carbon. His decision making is his art. In Indian politics this is most important that others don't know what declaration you are going to make. Doing this other senior BJP ministers have to prove their job & has to work for people & not for themselves & their families.
