I do not know if Mr Patel has visited all monuments in India before making a grandiose statement that Shah Jehan was the finest builder of any ruler in India. Having visited the Taj, Old Delhi and its monuments, I would grant these are fine and grand structures. However, I still rate Kajuraho Temples, the Brihadeswar temple in Thanjavur, the Pattadakkal Chalukyan temples and the Pallava structures at Mahabalipuram far superior to Shahjehan's monuments.

You have forgotten the Dilwara temple in Rajasthan. Taj is famous for its love story. It is a much hyped up structure. It is giving us revenue is different thing. It is a much hyped up structure.
