Not a big deal
by yahoo on Oct 01, 2017 03:31 PM  | Hide replies

Not as a big a deal as is being made out. He can show the proof and get the matter resolved. When verifying it is not possible to always carchinly the illegal immigrants.
Why make it an ego issue? If dr.kalam had no problem getting frisked at the airport, then why should anyone feel aggrieved about this?

very well said. rediff always makes a mountain out of a molehill just to blame the Government, especially when it involves minorities. it is clear rediff is not worried about the safety and security of this country.

Certainly unfortunate. Several minority people have served military & retired but they were never asked to prove their Nationality. Unfortunately, it is on account of his own brethren that Govt has to ask such questions to ensure the safety of millions of his fellow countrymen.

Dangerous trends
by Bharat Kumar on Oct 01, 2017 03:02 PM  | Hide replies

There are some who think we can be convinced and pleased if they stop a few miserable refugees coming across the borders. They appeal to the raw emotions of people and provoke them to behave as if they are the chosen ones. Not very different from how Hitler and the fascist Mussolini raised the mob frenzy.

Not too late, let's not allow the politicians fool us any more- both the current and former ruling parties have their actions to explain. No, AAP or leftists are not the solution either, they are headed by megalomaniacs. Just don't let the shouting brigade dominate, silence them with arguments. They will abuse, won't last long :)

This is exactly the type of argument which was being used since 1947 to inundate India with illegal voters.

You are against someone, but you don't quite know who you are! You are the classical case of confused identity. India will be what it was, you have give up any hopes of purifying it :)

Paying high salaries to gov employees, the non-performing annimal
by NEO HITLER on Oct 01, 2017 02:54 PM  | Hide replies

Paying high salaries to gov employees, the non-performing annimals, is a major concern in India. After 7yh Pay Commission, gov employees will get very high salaries. Even a peon or LDC will now get Rs 30,000 and above per month. This is an offence against the nation.

verywhere in the world, Mxlims overbreed, do illegal activities, resort to terrrrorism and create problems. On the other hand, they have treacherous mentality.

High salaries to gov criminals and mxlims overbreeding are major concerns.

As you know millions from Bangladesh / East Bengal arrived in Assam since the time of Fakruddin Ahmed, like Mexicans entered USA in millions. Many of them got all required ID cards like Ration Card, voter card from same corrupt Govt. departments like Dawood got 4-5 passports in different names by the same corrupt Govt. Depts. Even now, many of the PAN & ADHAR cards are bogus or given in double or treble. That does not mean that I retired from Govt. service and now a doubt has come on me to prove my citizenship, does not in any way change the story. It is reported that a lakh of Pakistanis live in Hyderabad with records of Indian citizenship. Will it change the original picture?
