Teachers Plight & Rahul Jee
by verma ajay on Nov 25, 2017 03:30 PM  | Hide replies

It is a serious issue not to be exploited for political gains. Since 2004, all parties have followed the policy of no pension. They also do not follow the principle of same pay for same work. Therefore Rahul's gesture is an illusion. Sheela Dixit followed the same policy and Sh. Arvind Kejriwal, in spite of his election assurances for regularising the contract workers, are also following Mrs. Dixit policy. There is a need to find out ways to ensure social security to contract employees. But, on this count, both, BJP and congress have same score. I hope the Governments in power will review it.

Contract system and Private schools & colleges
by Suresh Babu on Nov 25, 2017 03:30 PM  | Hide replies

The congress brought contract system in this teaching section of schools, colleges & universities & BJP wants to promote only private institutions and hence both will not be able to bring a solution for the alarming situation.

Where Gujarat is headed?
by Sane Voice on Nov 25, 2017 02:23 PM  | Hide replies

If a person having the highest qualification like Ph.D has to undergo life long agony like this, what is the fate of X passed or plus 2 person? Gujarat has indeed made great strides under Modi model, only for Adanis and Ambanis, not for common man. Now, this skewed model is sought to be implemented in the country. God save our motherland.

Kindly educate yourself, Phd is certainly not the highest qualification. There is Post Doctorate, DSc & even higher degrees applicable.

Coming to the point, how many other Phd lecturers exist India & how many of them are in similar condition. Did you bother to check? Our country has been ruled by one party for 60 out of 70yrs & most of the states barring West Bengal & Tamil Nadu too has had that party rule for 45-50yrs.

May we know from you what that party has done in its entire 60yrs rule? It is extremely easy to ask questions of a party ruling for 3yrs, but why no questions from a party which rules for 60yrs?

It is very true, Congress did nothing for a common man since Indira Gandhis era. Manmohans era, only tugs are there in the parliament/ministry/state legislaters and all the low profile leaders. Nobody dared to question them, BJP was waiting for an opportunity to change the scenario, but its leaders are fools to talk nonsence though they are qualified. Mr. Modi alone can not do anything, Seniors are supporting him because Advani did not get the PMs post. People who are questioning BJP are the criminals and unpatriotic who can even go any enxtend to ditch the country or mortgage the country.

Dear Rajarshi Banerjee, Post Doctoral is not an educational qualification. It is essentially an internship program after PhD to acquire research strategies and confidence to carry out research independently in a particular field of study. But from your comment it clear and unfortunate that we need to educate the self esteemed educated lot.

Waiting `` ACHHE DIN `` with tears in eyes

I shudder to imagine the fate of a PhD scholar, a part time teacher getting a meagre salary of Rs 1200/month after rendering 22years of service .Shame on our political class .This is the Gujarat Model Mr Modi is crying out, day in & day out from the house top?.
This kind of vikas - centric jumla baazi can not contain for long social & economic contradictions.
BJP & particularly Mr Modi who ruled the state for 12 years , instead of indulging in cow - Ramjan - Shamshan, Taj , Tipu Sultan & now Padmavati kind of controversies , should spare some thoughts for unemployment, agrarian crises & health care etc.
As the adage goes` when small men cast long shadows , it means the Sun is about to set.

Mr. Sharma, there will be thousands if not lakhs of such cases across the country. Surely the BJP was not ruling all of these states for the last 70yrs since Independance. I wonder why some people become extremely selective in passing judgements. One party ruled India for 60 out of 70yrs. No questions to be asked to them but somebody who is ruling for 3.5yrs needs to answer each & every single question. Some logic indeed.

If consoling a PhD scholar women in great distress is a NAUTANKI , I salute such a gesture from core of my heart.
Instead of indulging in mockery , we must spare some moments of thoughts for these people in grief as fellow citizens.

Mr. Sharma, did you care to check what is the condition of the lecturers in UP where non BJP parties ruled for 60yrs? Particularly what is the condition of Phd lecturers in Amethi?

You may sure salute such selective nautanki, thats your opinion & you are entitled to it, but kindly don't pass judgements about others. If somebody else is calling it mockery, he has justified reasons for calling it just like you have a reason for saluting.

The plight of qualified people is challenging because of caste based reservation and people are only trying to grant reservation to more people. So, how are the meritorious going to get their rightful due? Will someone answer?

Mr. SSY, you know very well that in a left oriented democracy like India, even tweaking any kind of reservation policy means that party is finished permanently from Indian polity. Congress introduced this mess 70yrs back & it was supposed to kept for 15yrs only. That it continued for 70yrs & now even more castes continue to ask for it is a shame.

So cut the rhetoric of abolishing & argue on logic. Whether reservation even after 70yrs is fair or not.
