No benefit of doubt
by anil sood on Nov 23, 2017 04:18 PM  | Hide replies

Bhansali should not be given any benefit of doubt as he has been told during the making of film to desist from depicting the Queen Padmabati in bad shape that is not liked by rajputs. If he has still gone to make the film and that hurts the sentiments of Rajput community then he does not deserve any benefit of doubt

when joda akbar was made, the film was shown to the royal families and consent from them were taken. why bhansali is running away from that, instead he is showing the movie to the journalists, that makes it more suspicious, that he has something to hide.

Who told you that the film was shown to "Royal families and their consent taken"?

Lot of lies are being passed around as truth either deliberately or otherwise.

You better take your own dose regularly instead of advising others what they have to do.

Patanjali has a product called "Godhan Ark" which they claim to be purified C0w_urine_. But I don't trust Baba Ramdev. If you are using that product I suggest go for fresh one.

P.S : Maybe your condition is what it is because of taking unpurified Godhan Ark.

Allaudin Khilji as Ranveer Singh?
by Lekshminarayanan on Nov 23, 2017 03:50 PM

I have often seen people viewing actors as their characters which is bad enough. But viewing characters for their actors - because Ranveer is cool and he plays Allaudin, the Khilfi becomes cool? - this is the limit of idiocy.

This article is a one-dimensional conundrum!!!
by Hardeep Vora on Nov 23, 2017 02:31 PM  | Hide replies

The author (Vivek Gumaste) has definitely tried his best to present all facets of this controversy, past and present. But in doing so, he has unabashedly also displayed his love of words and knowledge of English vocabulary, which unfortunately has made this article a "cantankerous melee" (to quote the author).

Any person with a working knowledge of English would require a dictionary to decipher the exact meaning of a lot many words peppered around throughout the article. I am a fairly educated person and gauged the mood of the article in a superfluous read. But it took me a second glace to understand what Mr. Gumaste wanted to convey.

May I please request you Mr. Gumaste to control your urge to be a walking-talking thesaurus and try to use simple words which work just as well!!!

BOYCOTT AND DONATE
by chandrashekar nayak on Nov 23, 2017 02:30 PM  | Hide replies

My humble request to all my fellow citizens. Please boycott this B Grade Movie from a B Grade producer who is playing with the sentiments of the majority Hindus. Film's Box Office Collection may cross Rs 200-300 Crores. All those people who are planning to watch Padmavathi should boycot the movie and think of donating the Ticket Money of rs 150-200 to our Army Welfare Fund, which can change the lives of widows and children of our martyred Brave Soldiers.Pls consider this. This is the only way to teach traitors like Bhansali a lesson and they will never think of making another movie like Padmavathi- a movie based on distorted historical facts with a deliberate attempt to insult the Hindu Community.
