True that ethics and morality need to be injected into our system , but Mr jaitley must note that given the current tendency of voters to elect mainly persons with criminal backgrounds ( no matter which party they are from) , this puritanical approach may not be appreciated much , for the present. Also, he must reflect whether a decision that in one stroke destroyed the livelihoods of over 25 of the population who depend on home based cottage business to just about survive is really ethical or moral . And all this destruction of poverty- level lives just to entrap people who live at the highest economic level hiding their cash .
We do not need such FM who considers everyone tax evader, if aim of govt. is only to increase revenue to pay hefty DA linked pension to politicians and govt. servants, we need such govt. and FM.

Yes an how much these people are wasting on advertisements unnecessary world tours and organizing rallies. This money being wasted could be used to construct houses for poor, foresration programmes to increase forest cover in the country, which is depleting fast ands causing environmental problems. But these problems are not of their concern
