Yawn Yawn to this apologist. In sheer numbers its the religious places that have more tourists than Taj. We kallus always take a benchmark of a white foreigner. Even then places like Goa, Pundicherry and south A&N Islands have more foreigners visiting. The hype of Taj is fading . I remember meeting students from a school in UK (our masters) at the Statsi Museum erstwhile East Berlin. Being told that its their field trip I asked the students if they would be visiting India. The staff told me that its expensive and beyound their means. I got 15 minutes with them and told them that India is very old civilisation and way beyond Gandhi Nehru and Taj Mahal. They laughed and said " we are aware of it ". I replied I hope you all are formally taught about what I said to which they replied in the affirmative.(they knew about the cholas vijaynagar kingdom Ahoms etc) . One of the older staff member whispered to me " Colonel we do get the drift of you talk"

Forget all these change of names etc. Concentrate on improving the infrastructure , roads etc, all over Agra, so that tourist get more and more attracted to Tajmahal. Let people of Agra in general, and people around Taj Mahal be guided to welcome Tourists, ensure no undesirable behavior with Tourists, sell things in close vicinity at fied and reasonable prices. Let every thing in Tourist places be GOOD. I was surprised, when no person in Shrinagar Kashmir harmed us when we a group of 12, including 4 seniors, visited in April 2017, in the midst of Pattharbazi, but, we tourists were absolutely safe. LET INDIA BE ONE OF THE BEST PLACE ON THE TOURIST MAP OF THE WORLD.

U people only can change name/broke the beautiful things made by mughals and nothing
Let us not worry about how and what of Taj Mahal as irrespective of which Mughal built and why , this is an architectural Marvel and need to be viewed as such for tourism . A tourist has no clue as to which Moghul loved a woman more and why ?? They see this as a While Marble Architectural Marvel and that is is all . Let us allow this to flourish without any hiccups . Thanks
