by venu gopal on May 22, 2017 09:56 AM  | Hide replies

Best bet with India to dissude China from progressing in POK area is to bombard POK area saying Pak militants are hidinding there for two- three consecutive days this bombardement will keep every one on alert not to venture project in POK without consent of India. Pak has no say.

I sympathise with you Venu for your scintillating intellect. POK is waiting desperately for us to bomb them. Keep imagining such rubbish & no wonder many in this Govt are like Alice in Wonderland thinking of the same nonsense. Though Alice had much more sense then Pseudo Samrat.

One opportunity, one challenge
by Gajadhar Choudhary on May 17, 2017 11:20 PM  | Hide replies

India should start parallel project OPOC (one opportunity one challenge), a road, rail link from Ajmer to Mecca to Raffle Tower . 80% of the Middle East countries supporting India including SA and EU facing migration problem may be active partner on behalf of UNO. Muslim countries may favors Ajmer- Mecca road- rail link for Haj and back to Raffle Tower via Middle East. China and Pakistan has no democratic and social base to get support from Middle East. India may keep UAE a main partner to develop Middle East to end hunger and poverty of UN 17 SDGs by 2030.

From Ajmer to Mecca? Through Pakistan? Iran? If not, an undersea tunnel? Is this a joke?

The best way is to isolate this Pak-Chinese nexus and become a welcome neighbour to all other neighbouring countries taking interest in joint development. India also should not stop its efforts to publicise in world forums the past aggressions of these two enemy countries. We all should help our govt by boycotting the Chinese goods. Indian manufacturing should pose a challenge to Chinese goods price and quality wise in the export market. This is a very effective way to counter Chinese hegemony.

STOP THE CHINESE ECONOMIC INVASION OF INDIA
by damodaran mohan on May 17, 2017 05:04 PM  | Hide replies

Actually we Indians and more so the GOI is yet to realize that much before the OBOR or BRI to dominate the Asia-Pacific and African region CHINA had already initiated a very sinister plan to wage Economic war against India to completely annihilate the Indian Industry and commerce. The mass flooding of Indian market with cheap Chinese goods across the board from plastic toys to Power station and from electronics, telecom, computers, Mobiles, smart phones ....to raw material, Auto parts to steel …. are the major economic invasion on India China had undertaken for decades to capture one of the biggest markets in the world. Somehow our govt. has been shortsighted and lackadaisical with we the people falling for the cheap ‘Make in China’ goods at the cost of our very own MSME sectors closing down one by one and even the poor local artisans losing his measly earnings to making his living. Unless we the people and the govt. deptts wake up to the challenges posed by the flooding of the Indian market by the cheap imports of China goods in every walk of life India we will be virtually taken over by 2ND wave of East India Co. sort of economic slavery of the Chinese people. Recently the belated increase of Duty by GOI on cold and hot rolled steel imports is a step in the right direction to encourage indigenous steel production but has to cover the entire range of Goods and services in the spirit of ‘India First’ model for the very survival of our Industr

(CONTD.)..Industry and workers. Now coming to CPEC India must tell China in no uncertain terms that CHINA has no business to be present in POK until Pak resolves permanently the K-issue in the spirit of Shimla agreement accepting the LOC as the IB transferring the ownership on the two K-sides permanently to the two respective countries.

India's position
by suravarapu gopal rao on May 17, 2017 02:57 PM  | Hide replies

It is our duty now to enhance our activity in the POK and in Kashmir. Unless we augment, our neighbours are ready to capitalize. We have already given the fruits of POK and Kashmir during the last few years. It is high time we should not allow others to occupy our lands any further. The more the delay, the more disadvantage to our country in the years to come.
Hurry up. Give a notice to all those remaining in our land to vacate by a deadline. Beyond which, we are at liberty to forcefully vacate them. Give a copy of the notice to UNO. Who ever is willing to cooperate with us we will take their help. A Friend in need is a Friend in Deed. By the way, it is known now that a blue print is made and it is going to implement by our neighbour, China. Instead of fighting every day, we should settle the matter once for all.
Hai Hind. Jai Bharat.

And how to vacate them? Do you think it can be done easily? Or even with difficulty?

You are entitled to your dreams but you should distinguish between them and reality.

Most countries in South Asia (except India and Bhutan), central Asia, South east Asia and West Asia, exactly those countries through which the BRI will run and which are going to benefit.
