An earlier life sentence
by palanki narayana on Mar 10, 2017 05:17 PM

How many of us remember the life sentence awarded to Binayak Sen for a similar offence? Chattisgarh CM Raman Singh hailed the decision. Sen has come out on bail and continues to write articles for news magazines. I wonder what bail means to different offenders like Saibaba, Sanjay Dutt, Sen and Maya Kondnani.

Convict
by suryakant agrawal on Mar 10, 2017 05:16 PM  | Hide replies

Rediff should desist publishing such article glorifying a convicted criminal. If these arguments were so convincing, the court should have not awarded this man a punishment. If still he has some grudge, please go to higher courts in appeal. Do not try to gain sympathy for disability and demean others disables.

WTF people who were responsible for the death of 1000 individuals in a senseless pogrom have done it again. Moaist will never get our sympathy, but Prof Sai Baba will. The country's sagacity to tolerate diverse political thought has been burnished. Expect more stupidity from people crazy about uniformity.
