It is Lalu's family
by aam admi on Jul 28, 2017 05:54 PM

and Lalu too lost further ground. Congress too has gone on back burner with the shift of Nitish to BJP camp.
we thank Rahul for the case against Lalu still pending otherwise MMS and Sonia would have also eaten 'Chara along with Lalu' after amending the article, luckily Rahul tore those papers in Delhi in front of Press reporters in the presence of Ajay Makan.
Lalu's last lag of life is going to be tough with sons in problem. Lalu developed among them only one Value that is greed, Greed to acquire since Childhood.

Nitish has NOT ditched Laloo......Nitish Gave Enough Warnings....
by rishi on Jul 28, 2017 04:20 PM

.....to laloo and his family that they should come out clean on corruption charges against them.....when they failed to do and even declined from tejashvi's resignation to uphold the principles of the Government in the interest of the people of bihar, then nitish had to take a stand.....there is no hidden agenda or conspiracy in this entire change of power except to give the people of Bihar the confidence that the Government will always try for absolute fairness in its duty and service to the people. NDA is above all such silly perceptions that rediff and some compulsively anti-BJP media try to spread.

Possibly true!
by Venkatesa Prabhu on Jul 28, 2017 04:09 PM

How many times has Congress pulled the plug on governments supported by it? Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi have done it earlier. Nitish Kumar was already held hostage by Lalu ... so if he jumps from frying pan into fire, that's his call. All the moral police officers on duty did NOT object when the alliance was forged by Congress, RJD and other allies ... each one with several cases of corruption against them. Suddenly they find that Nitish has lost character ... Must be joke of the decade. Am sorry, there would be many more, with RAhul Baba around.

Marginalize Nitish in 3-4 years.
by on Jul 28, 2017 01:24 PM  | Hide replies

What is there to marginalize ? With the support of Centre, Bihar will develop faster and there is a bright future for this State. I wish Nitish could root out corruption and Goondaism from Bihar.

Good to ditch corrupt Lalu
by Shashank Tikekar on Jul 28, 2017 12:29 PM  | Hide replies

Mr. Ghosh speaks like a spokes person of congress- RJD alliance. Opinion is based on biased view rather than facts. People of Bihar virtually kicked out Lalu from power and gave huge mandate to NDA in successive elections. But Nitish ditched BJP in 2014 ignoring people's mandate for his personal ambition. 2014 LS elections RJD and JDU couldn't match BJP. Then Nitish joined hands with Lalu to counter BJP in 2015 assembly elections. Though combination succeeded but Nitish was at loss as JDU strength plummeted from 115 to 70 MLAs. While Lalu gained most and outnumbered Nitish. Real treat to JDU in Bihar is from RJD not BJP. As Lalu continue to exercise more control on administration, Nitish would weaken further. RJD is party of corrupts and goons which would ultimately spell doomsday for Nitish. Nitish has made a wise decision to snap ties with convict Lalu.

Unethical Nitish
by Prakash Bedekar on Jul 28, 2017 12:22 PM  | Hide replies

Shri Nitish Kumar has betrayed voters in Bihar. @ years back he won the elections on anti BJP issues and now he seem to have forgotten everything he spoke during campaign. A man of principles would have resigned and requested Governor for dissolution of assembly and asked for fresh mandate.

There is nothing wrong if Nitish can deliver with NDA's support from the centre and BJP's coalition in the state....BJP is a mature and seasoned party that is itself looking for other parties who hold uncompromising anti-corruption mission in their governance who can independently or with BJP's support form governments wherever needed.

Nitish Kumar grew in stature when he was in joint governance with BJP. The author of this article doesn't read the coalition properly but I wouldn't blame him for that because if it was not the case his article would not have appeared on rediff hahahaha
