Ajit Doval is very much knoen for his vision and forsightedness. China is well aware of his personality.Surely he will be able to deal with this quagmire effectively.Do\'t pin hopes but we can\'t be pessimistic.
Lets face it. For all the chest beating and jingoism from the political class in India. We are not prepared to take on China. Modi wishing the Chinese leaders on their birthday. How silly can the man get? Does he actually think his "Happy Birthday" will make the Chinese leave Doklam? These are hard boiled men Mr. Prime Minister with indepth knowledge of political chicanery, and not some foolish Indian citizenery who at the moment are eating from your hands and digesting whatever you say.

Lot of jingoism. Let us accept reality that we are militarily and economically 10 times weaker than China. I also strongly suspect India took a misstep in sending troops. There is a lot of grey area in these borders and we really need not have poked our nose on Bhutans border with China. WE have umpteen problems in our own country to solve and spending effort on a losing cause really does not make any smart sense.

Do you have any idea of mountain warfare. An invading force needs to have an advantage of 9:1 vis-a-vis the defending force. Plus the area is a strategic importance for US. The next time China builds a road you can say goodbye to all the North eastern states

India has to restrain China,Its there strategy to venture into disputed territory based on power and inch by inch ctrl it and keep on expanding boundaries.they are eyeing Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh which India cannot tolerate.those who are think that mere surrendering will help are wrong as they will for sure attack arunachal pradesh which they consider their own...there is not limit to their misadventure..

Let us be pragmatic and logical.The Chinese PLA definitely has more resources than the Indian Army. However, unlike in 1962, when the Indian Army was ill-prepared for the Chinese assault and vastly outnumbered, this time they have numerical and logistical parity, and they are always on watch for Chinese aggression. That is why China is launching media war. If they had the upper hand, they would have simply overrun us without bothering about about consequences
