Political profligacy
by Umacharan Panigrahi on Feb 23, 2017 10:02 AM

KCR's profligacy is not limited to this 'golden offering' to the Lord only if you take his car, bungalow, life style into account.
He is extracting every paisa of his labor pains to deliver Telengana in India.
He now continues with appeasement of Hindu Gods(rituals) and of Muslim people(through discriminatory policies) to ensure permanent power.

Save the hindus and your Dharma
by Srinivas R on Feb 22, 2017 10:43 PM

KCR - instead of giving gifts and helping the seculars, first protect your Dharma. That is a big return gift to the lord. Whatever you give to temple may be looted by anyone!

How a chief minister transfer his state govt. money to Gods? Uraan veettu neiye en pendaaty kaiye meaning neibhour's ghee through my wife's hand. Hail Telengana and Hail India.

Modern Krishnadevaraya
by palanki narayana on Feb 22, 2017 07:38 PM  | Hide replies

Telugu media is hailing KCR as a modern incarnation of the 16th century king Krishnadevaraya who was lavish on a grand scale in bestowing gifts to Lord Venkateswara. The media chose to forget that in the 16th century all the state's wealth belonged to the king, to be spent as per his desire. The 21 century criteria are different.

Krishnadevaraya was a feudal age bandit, albeit a very big one !

KCR is one of Rayas innumerable modern day versions. The only difference is that the modern day versions steal by fooling gullible commoners while Raya and other feudal era thieves grabbed the commoners wealth openly !

Srinivas, go back and read history in detail !

Feudalism, landlessness among the majority, virtual slavery ,etc were all as widespread as they always were during the middle ages almost everywhere !

Subjects living happily and being wealthy pertained to just a small proportion of the subjects, while the majority bore the brunt of doing all the hard labour for pittances in return !

Read varied authors in detail, not from your school history textbook alone !

KCR is right, KCR is wrong
by palanki narayana on Feb 22, 2017 07:24 PM  | Hide replies

KCR achieved Telangana by using right tactics. KCR is ruling Telangana by getting his priorities right and striving to achieve the realisation of priority goals. He is the right person for the job which was entrusted to him by people.
KCR blotted his copy book with spending government money on yagjnas and gifts to gods. (Even if he had used his own money, consigning vast quantities of food into fire is not acceptable).
Dear KCR, you are doing fine as a benefactor of the state. Please continue along the same path. Gods don't need bribes from humans.

An earlier chief minister P.V.Narasimha Rao too performed a Rudra Yaga when the rains failed. Not a drop of rain fell on the parched land. Can you enlighten me how KCR succeeded when PV failed?

Mr. KCR, if you made a vow, do it with your own resources
by RAVICHANDER S on Feb 22, 2017 07:17 PM  | Hide replies

Sir,
It is the custom and practice to fulfil a vow with one's own resources, not from the public resources. You made the vow, not Telangana. Please note this and make vows which you can filfil, not to use public resources for the purpose.

Even if the vows are fulfilled with his own money, do you find it acceptable that vast amounts of ghee, food grains and dry fruit are thrown into fire?

Two wrongs do not make a right. Wasteful practices should be condemned whatever may be the religion of the perpetrator.

A "few" kilos of ghee? Please get the details of the total expenditure from the news reports of that time. You also know that KCR announced that a bigger Yagjna will be conducted soon.

Silver, not gold
by palanki narayana on Feb 22, 2017 07:07 PM  | Hide replies

He donated silver moustaches to Veerabhadra swamy, not gold.
At the risk of being abused by readers or the moderator deleting my message, I have to say this: In Telangana more than 2000 farmers committed suicide. The state is reeling under a debt of 12000 crores. About 40 lakh people in the age group of 25-40 are unemployed. The schools and colleges are in a mess without staff, infrastructure or academic activity. KCR and his ministers have to work day and night to bring in some semblance of hope. Prayers to gods will not do. It is human endeavour, not divine intervention that will bring in change and prosperity.

Bhadrakali in Warangal
by Prem Kumar on Feb 22, 2017 06:37 PM

Kohinoor diamond was the asset of Bhadrakali in Warangal. It was looted during Alauddin Khilji by his Army commander \"Malik Kafur\". Which after centuries took away with a false lahore treaty with a weak sikh king by british. Time to get back this Diamond from this british and give back to Bhadrakali in Warangal.
