Gujarat poll
by jayraj nair on Dec 20, 2017 01:09 PM  | Hide replies

Anti incumbency was always there, but, they could get another 5 years term from the people of Gujarat. Opposition could not turn the election on its own way due to scarcity of leaders and agenda, hence, they are celebrating as its own victory.

Congress Reawakening
by Vijay Kumar Bhakta on Dec 20, 2017 12:54 PM  | Hide replies

So Mr. Sanjeev, you are indicating that the splitting of votes on cast basis by the Congress is a right strategy. Wow, so you are proposing that we remain in the adimanava type of approach and not march towards a cast n religion religion free society. Long live congress bhakts like you.

The winning spree of BJP can be curbed only if entire opposition gets united, like Bihar.
Probably Congress has realized that appeasing a specific community will not serve the purpose now.

the election result
by padmanabhan Raghavachari on Dec 20, 2017 12:49 PM  | Hide replies

The BJP too is committing the same mistakes that
were done by congress party all these years.

The congress party neglected the poor, middle-class
and the village all these years and favoured blindly the rich and well-to-do; due to which it faced utter defeats all over India loosing power.

Now the same thing has happened to the BJP party too.

so unless the BJP mends its ways and strategy it
will face loss even in 2019 elections.

Caste Politics by Congress
by Raj Gopal on Dec 20, 2017 12:41 PM

Congress has played Caste politics in Gujarat which is an old trick up their sleeve. This is one of the reason for BJP's poor show.
Secondly most of the business class which does business honestly are happy with GST but others sided with Congress who want to continue their unregistered business.
Congress has to careful in giving false promises to caste based reservations.

Rahul's religion ?
by Sudarshan Nityananda on Dec 20, 2017 12:36 PM  | Hide replies

It is puzzling why Rahul should clear any doubts about his religion. He doesn't have to say I am a HIndu or I am a SIkh etc. WE don't need to know people's religions in order to give them a political space. He may not even have a formal religion, and if people are still willing to vote for him it proves the modern way in which our electorate thinks. It is only the Parivar fanatics who keep looking at every public figure's religion and tailors their response to him / her accordingly.
Time to reduce the space that religion is now occupying in our public discourse.

...
we modi lovers too believe in this.

our question is why Rahul did a temple run before elections then ?

we only wish he returns to those temples atleast once a year.
