The analysis is somewhat correct. The Urban centres Surat,Baroda,Rajkot and Ahmedabad saved the day for BJP where it almost swept the elections. If these cities had also gone like the rest of the state, BJP wud have gone below 90 and Congress above 90. It was only Modi's personal rapport in the cities which was came to the rescue of BJP.

So nobody is doubting the popularity of Modi as such. Doubts are being cast on the winnability of BJP without Modi. Can BJP win today in any state without Modi or without Modi campaigning for BJP?

Rediff should need to rethink on their journalist or blog writer. What a foolish analysis, on one hand they said everything was gainst BJP in this election and then also if BJP win then who is real winner BJP or congress. Come up from slaveness rediff and start hiring some good people rather than slave.

Rahul Gandhi did the same thing which Jawahar Lal Nehru and Congres did in the last 75 years. They kept on getting voted by destroying India by increasing the RESERVATION for SC after 1962 even when Mr Ambedkar who was himself a SC wrote in the constitution to stop it after 10 years. Congress made it for ever so that India is destroyed but they will retain power based on Caste Politics. Rahul Gandhi promised reservation for Patidars so that India will again be destroyed but he will get the power on Caste Politics and will be able to loot the India by coming to power.

Bhaiyaji, the same besharmi is being shown by the person who gave promise to quit writing comments if BJP win Gujarat election.
I wonder, why everyone is talking about Gujarat? Is HP not in India?. The Congress stooges who are dancing as if they have won, are forgetting that if Guj. & HP put together the BJP has got 2 more seats than 2012 while retaining Guj. and snatching HP. Congress needs to wake up to the stark reality. Still if they want to bask in the Glory of this MORAL victory, I wish them many more such victories.

Dosth, people are talking about Gujarat because, Gujarat Model vikas was the masterpiece in 2014 election campaign. Moreover , it is the state of our PM . this is why Gujarat is discussed. I happened to be in Baroda for 3 days a few months before. Would like to visit other cities and suburbs soon. I move around the entire city and found really Amazing.

Last time Rohit Sharma scored 265 against Srilanka and this time managed to get only 208, this is huge moral victory of Sri Lanka, this is begining of end of Rohit Sharma. Rohit Sharma must retire, he is loser now.
