I think media is desperately trying to create an opposition to BJP. Otherwise who can call this contest a close contest when the winning party has polled over 49% of total votes polled and when the difference between winner and loser in a bipolar contest is over 7%. Moreover has anyone analysed the results before creating noise. Out of 99 seats won by BJP, 57 seats were won with over 20000 votes majority. Another 17 seats were won with over 10000 majority. This makes 74 seats. BJP had main reverses on Saurashtra-Kutch and also to some extent South Gujarat. They have 5 years to correct these.
On the other hand, congress should seriously worry because the caste combination they stitched together in this poll (Patidars, OBC and Sc/ST) will not hold for 5 years and will collapse because of inherent contradictions.

Fair deal. But there are people who are really struggling because of this government and there are people in rural areas who are even struggling to live peacefully.
