Rahul is no Pappu
by Sane Voice on Dec 19, 2017 12:07 AM  | Hide replies

Rahul was ridiculed with all kinds of messages circulated by vested interests in the social media. His performance in Gujarat elections against giant stalwarts is quite remarkable even when he could not emerge winner. To win future elections, all he has to do is to fine-tune his strategies, focus only on the failure of the government to deliver on its promises, never indulge in personal insults. He should concentrate on the price rise, growing unemployment, problems arising out of faulty policies and their implementation. He should also relate these problems to the daily life of the common man and make him realize how much common man is affected. He should also come out with viable solutions to the common problems of the people. He should capitalize on the opponents weaknesses and not to compete with their strengths. Strong opposition is always a healthy feature of democracy.

Nicely summed up !!
Its definitely a moral victory for Congress and we can see good future for Congress in days to come. BJP is on a path of decline and they can not always ride on Modi. Congress and Rahul doing right thing by investing in youth leaders, which is the long term vision of congress.

For all your intellectual abilities you chose to ignore the heady & venomous cocktail of Casteism that Congress and a few young idiots cooked up in their desperate attempt for power.
India is the biggest looser. The congress should be ashamed that it had to bank of casteism to win an election.

How do you explain BJP voteshare rising to 50%? Congress caste engineering did the trick for it.Congress is bereft of issues & has to resort to divisive tactics to win. Sooner Cong. Mukt bharat becomes a reality, the better

Hats off to Modiji!!!
by Triveni on Dec 18, 2017 06:28 PM  | Hide replies

He has come from a humble background
He has withstood the onslaught of press and media
He has faced the step motherly treatment from most of the people who were favoring the dynasty rule.
He has managed to pull off a victory even when the entire opposition came together dividing the people on cast and religion.

I feel this is the greatest victory for Modiji...proud of him. Sometimes really pity him for the kind of support he gets from us the Indians. He doesnot make moey..doesnot favor his relatives works for his party and the country..still someone like Rahul is called a Bazigar!!!

Rightly said. Rahul was born with golden spoon (not a silver spoon as the saying goes). He is arrogant and successor of dynasty who ruled the country for years. Indians are born to get ruled by likes of Britishers and Congress is akin to them. Modi maut ka saudagar and Rahul a bazigar, what a statement from Saisuresh Sivaswamy. Rahul is not a Pappu but a Puppy.

Dear Sai suresh, : My 5 Takeaways
1. Communal politics would not work anymore
2. Tough decisions are also supported by public
3. Abusing wont help anymore
4. If you are not capable any number of allies would not help.
5. Rahul Gandhi is no match at all for PM

Rahul Gandhi is a pappu forever. He is nothing without the moneybags that his mother stashed away for him and her ever eager servants educated in Harvard and Cambridge.

Congress performance
by Sudarshan Nityananda on Dec 18, 2017 05:52 PM  | Hide replies

IF as trends show, the COng goes above 80 seats it's not such a bad showing , if we consider that Gujarat is a die hard BJP state. In other states like MP, Maharashtra and Rajasthan, the Cong will have better chances as local leaders are strong . All this, provided Rahul discards laziness and gets the right strategies in place at least a year before the elections.

Wrong analysis by those supporting Rahul and going gaga over his performance: Gujarat has been ruled for 22 years by BJP. Every election BJP has been losing a few seats more than the previous....last time was 115. Rahul tried his best to use divisive politics with Alpesh-Jignesh-Hardik. This time was litmus test for Modi after GST and demonetization that affected business people. Still BJP got a clear majority. This means nothing as far as Rahul is concerned. He has no vision for Gujarat and he could not answer on that - watch his video. What happened to Congress in HP? Let's move on to the next State election and not draw hypothesis on other States.

There is some time before the other elections and a lot can happen in between. Some British politician said long ago that a week was a long time in politics. There are months to go.
