The so called writers need to first remove the accumulated dung in their mind. They are far away from reality and hence run under shelter of their political patrons. They then try to influence readers minds by their biased way of seeing things. Itâs unfortunate that we live in such era here I think modi has done a great favour by keeping them where they really should have been.

if they remove the dung then their heads would be empty.
don't worry they are only trying to soften the impact that their masters are going to feed tomorrow.

Congress has lost its biggest opportunity
by girish on Dec 17, 2017 10:29 AM

Going by all the exit polls the BJP is poised to form the next government in Gujarat and I believe the Congress has lost its biggest opportunity. By implementing Demon & GST, the BJP even though on right direction, was on wrong wicket. It hurt itself in order to give the nation a bright future. However in the process it reached its lowest trough in terms of popularity and gave opposition especially the Congress its biggest chance to return to power in Gujarat. However the Congress under the leadership of its now president Mr. Rahul Gandhi failed to capitalize on the situation. This I would say the biggest failure of its leadership. From here on I don't think any political party can challenge till 2024 general elections as I am confident that the situation is going to improve or shall I say not turn bad to an extend to which the Congress can make a formidable challenge to it. When I saw writer's name as Shekhar Gupta I realised that its going to be anti-BJP and did not find worth my time going through it entirely.

Then sadly there is no alternative to modiji
by KARAN on Dec 17, 2017 09:53 AM

Yes.For all his failures ,it appears there is no alternative to modiji.By no stretch of imagination congress never was,is and will be anything good for the people.Modiji is putting his steps painstakingly due rhe internal pulls by the equally corrupt delhi bjp.But if he wns gujarath he may fulfill some of his promises, startingbwith removing arun jaitley from the cabinet and giving the FM job to Dr.Swamy and start the exercise of honoringbhis words, albeit 4 years delayed.

North Indian commoners, in general, is easily diverted from their wretched lives and from the reasons for such wretchedness with diversionary talk by thieving political parties on religious identities (hyndu.....muxlim....hyndu..), caste identities, by use of terms such as national, anti national, patriotism, culture, pakistan...... !

Not for nothing is North India the worlds worst boondock (with 8 north Indian states having more poverty stricken people than the rest of the entire world as per the UN) !

Not for nothing did Khushwant Singh describe Indian commoners as among the stuxpidest in the world !

Not for nothing was the Congress party able to spend more than Rs 7400 crores and the BJP more than Rs 12000 crores campaigning in the 2014 LS election as per a survey by the Centre for Media Studies, New Delhi !

And not for nothing is Narendra Modi, who aids and abets gigantic theft of public wealth by croxny capitalists to a degree even worse than what the former Congress regime presided over, able to so easily divert the attention of these hapless simpleton north Indian commoners from their wretched lives by braying out loud and long about inanities such as religious identities !!

If Kerala is so good why are your brethren working as puncture wallahs in a remote town in Maharashtra for money. Puncture wallahs, ward boys , nurses etc.

Perhaps because they still earn much more than the 28 lakh north Indian migrant workers in Kerala, who are eagerly working there for the dream wages of a minimum of Rs 600 per day for unskilled work !!

Back in their home states in north India, all they will get is between Rs 80 and Rs 200 per day !!

Besides, the govt of Kerala has built hostels for them at very reasonable rates with toilets and running water to prevent them from defecating in the open !!

Imagine the joy of these north Indians at being given toilets with running water !!

Back in their home states, they have never seen or can even dream of such facilities !!

Yes, migrant workers are there everywhere.

But while most migrant workers from north India are in blue collar unskilled jobs and are mostly illiterate or have just about seen the first few years of school, most migrants from Kerala are in white collar jobs and have at least got past school finals !

Don't believe me ?

Just refer to any of the numerous reports about it available on the website of the Union ministry of labour or any of the numerous independent academic studies !!

And if you are not really aware of this big difference, you are surely a big ignoramus indeed !

And just why are those impoverished, semi starving crores of Biharis, U.Pites, M.Pites, Oriyas, Jharkhandis, Chattisgarhis, Rajasthanis, etc. not able to get to the GCC countries as the lower middle classes from Kerala do and earn enough to get into the middle classes ?

Why ?

Only because they are too illiterate (the GCC countries labour laws mandate a minimum qualification of matriculation even for low end jobs such as drivers, shop assistants, simple construction machinery operators, etc.) and too stupxid in general to understand the importance of adjusting to different food, different climate, different languages and different cultures !!

Even in Kerala, in the ghettos they make for themselves, they live in filth and squalor despite water being abundantly available and don't defecate in the open only because they fear the local populace !!

South Indian states ?

Which one ?

Which south Indian state do those south Indian sanitation workers hail from ?

Kerala ??

Really ?

Or Tamil Nadu and A.P ?

And....tamilians dominating the community of sanitation workers in Mumbai and other cities is a thing of the past, right ?

Now, most of them are U.Pites, Biharis and Jharkhandis, right ?

And....any idea that manual sanitation work (clearing of sewers in case of blockages) in Kerala is now done by north Indian migrant workers (earlier, it was tamilians) ??

Yes. But tamilians and telugus are not keralites, are they ?

And now, even tamilians and telugus have become literate and aware enough to demand officially mandated minimum wages from those who employ them, right ?

No such luck or fate for those semi starving and stuxpid crores of north Indians, right ?

media hype
by Ramana murthy on Dec 17, 2017 09:48 AM

rahul was the same as was in the UP elections time. if anyone was over active it was the press. it gave him the more than life image as it had done to the other pseudogandhi family. In elections playing on people's emotions is the best bet. in gujarat the congress played the patel caste card with hardik patel's support. also two other chota leaders took care of the other caste issues. Beyond this and lying perpetually that Modi was not talking about development and 22 years of no development rahul vinci did nothing. there is really no fight there. it is BJP all the way.
