Revenue
by Dhruba Sarma on Mar 11, 2018 06:31 PM

Revenue earned is a pittance of what we should have got . Countries with much less attractions earn much much more (billions of dollars). This is due to mismanagement , CORRUPTION, and general lack of interest of babus in charge of tourism .

"but a symbol of our culture"They are INVADER LEGACIES;The legacy of culture of defeat and slavedom and ignominy as these words spoken in meerut in 1888 reveal"The English have conquered India, and all of us along with it. And just as we made the country
obedient and our slave, so the English have done with us."So we had been salves and obedient to thyem, the clan of the man who addressed there.R.Ponnambalam

They become monuments when built on the destruction of other monuments.

Whose Culture is it by masking the previous monuments
by viswanath n on Feb 14, 2018 07:47 PM

Whose culture is it by masking the previous monuments and erecting theirs ? Why should a Hindu accept that their own heritage and culture demolished to allow other things to be erected ? The Nizams, Nawabs, Moghuls for generations ruined the beautiful sculptures, monuments of Hindus and have made their culture. This is not equality and secularity one should talk about and ask for justice for equality.

34 crores tourists to TN
by khemaji Bheel on Feb 12, 2018 10:57 AM  | Hide replies

Indian Tourism website states that TN is attracting more than 34 crore tourists every year. If this figure is right, it should be assumed that each person spends Rs.1000. Total spending in TN is 34,000,000,00,000. Where the money has gone. There is no notable improvements in the tourist sites as far as cleanliness and hotel facilities are concerned. The same is the case of Maharashtra.

34 cr? It is equivalent to 30% of India. And TN can be visited only in winter season when it is a busy academic season too. I doubt so many people visiting TN.

Yes Srinivas. The figure seems to be right. I have verified in Indian Tourism website. TN attracts more than half of Indian tourists. It means every one member of Indian family visits TN.

Foolish Pakistan and Afganistan...
by pranab banerjee on Jan 01, 2018 12:32 PM

There are so many ancient and very ancients sites in these countries coming down from Vedic ages.
Hindu tourists would love to visit these sites.
These countries can earn huge revenues.
But they are so foolish and fanatical countries.
Hindus going there would be highly insecure.
They will kill the tourists, charge them with spying like Kulbhushan Jhadav, steal their slippers, not allow saffron, etc,etc...
And we are practicing 'secularism" in India!

More than culture it is a symbol of slavery, subjugation, atrocities committed in this ancient land whose original culture was wiped out.

Absolutely true.
Most of these monuments listed symbolize the subjugation of Hindus by Moslem invaders.
Where are the monuments of ancient India, showing great moments of Indian History?
