The article is interesting, some of it true. But there are some unsaid messages which sound louder than the content of this article. That is there is a section of media who is very supportive of the government ... HMV??? And Mr Shekar Gupta is NOT part of this media ... he is the voice of the others who have been displaced in 2014. That too has been acknowledged gently, in an obtuse way. Great!!!
It seems he is too perplexed with the continuous downfall in the TRP of NDTV (His closest friend's channel) and the notices served to Mr. P. Roy and his family. Sekhar know better than anyone else that If this time China goes to a war with India it will be paid in the same coin but still He is a Modi basher and so he is helpless if he doesn't write such articles!!
It is astonishing to note that how hatred affects one's mind. In his hatred for Modi, one section of the media has lost its mental balance. This piece is a total rubbish. Govt is well aware of Chinese threat and has taken a firm and reasoned stance, No rhetoric, measured response. Opposition taken into confidence, parliament informed and military prepared. I have written earlier. India should not have sent its soldiers to the disputed China Bhutan border to try to assert Bhutans case !
And unlike what many commoners are led to believe, the agreement between India and Bhutan is only to co-ordinate foreign policy and does not cover defence related matters.

As per Census survey (as well as many other surveys conducted by different ministries and the NSSO), more than 70 % of the population in most north Indian states defecate in the open for want of toilets and running water !
70 % of north Indians comes to a population of about 65 crores !
Even if the 36 lakh malayalis living in north India (statistics from the ministry of labour, Kerala) defecate in the open (they dont, they would rather leave their jobs and businesses and go elsewhere!), they make up just about half percent of wayside defecators in north India, right ?
So, dont just flail your arms (and smelly bottom) in frustration. Just acquire at least the basic skills of hygiene and keep away stink from your person.
