The real problem
by Shyam Sunder on Aug 18, 2017 08:57 PM

The real problem is the Chinese want to use indigenous arms in the Army in case of a war. And the problem with Chinese products is that nobody knows when they work, how long they work and when they will fail. They don't want to take a risk but cannot put their patriotism to question. This is stopping them from going ahead.

economic health (fiscal deficit, trade deficit, gross revenue, growth rate, capital deployed, unemployment ratio, tax base, social sector investments, infrastuctural investments.......China beats India hands down !

And the absolute gap between the two is only further increasing year after year.

In a situation of a long drawn out war (even if it is of low intensity), India would run the risk of imploding much sooner than the enemy does.

Kalia komaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaali, dont pretend to be an expert on all the subject and better involve yourself in some job or constructive work instead of criticising this current government all the time . There are better and more educated and intelligent people available with them to do their business . Better mind your business instead of criticising just for the sake of criticism all the time.

I told you. Begin to read.

It might hurt a little at first. But, in time, with persistence, you may begin to get a hang of matters !

No war
by jai ghosh on Aug 17, 2017 05:22 PM

Come what may....every nation in the world realizes that war is no solution to any problem. US realized this (may be not yet) after they fought for Afghanistan and Iraq and some extent in Kuwait and to no extent in Vietnam. Except bloodshed and economic crashdowns, war does not achieve anything. China knows it very well that after a very painful way to reconstruct their economy over several years, they have taken the second place as economic giant and they would not like to destroy it over night. All problems can be solved by negotiating. The question is of the length of time and the most important factor to be considered here the political gains of each nation involved in the negotiation.
